They were AWESOME! Although they were not on time, due to traffic issues that put them off schedule, the office did a great job of keeping us informed. Stephen and his assistant were so organized and speedy once they got here and started, that we finished the load, drive and unload in the exact time I had booked. I have never had movers be so careful of furniture (and the new walls etc) as these two. We were so in awe of the way the two of them managed our two heavy pieces up the stairs and into place without a mark in anything-except, maybe, themselves! Would and will book them again. Also, the booking process through Hire A Helper was smooth and accurate. Thanks to all!

They were great! They called before they came over to get started and gave me an ETA, then showed up right on time and walked us through the house to discuss what we needed them to pack. They are VERY skilled at packing moving containers (PACKRAT or PODS), and packed ours floor to ceiling to make sure everything would fit. We went about 30 minutes over time and the rate for extra was very reasonable. They stayed to make sure we were set and ready to go! I would DEFINITELY recommend them and would use them again if we were still in the KC metro!

The two helpers originally hired did not show up or call to cancel, so I had to find someone last minute to replace them. When I called Hire a Helper, the gentleman there put my mind at ease and promised to send his morning crew to help as soon as they finished their current job. As promised they did arrive and were very helpful. They worked hard and saved the day! The office staff was fantastic and I highly recommend them for your moving needs. I wish I would have called them first, and next time I will.

These men were amazing!! They were on time and ready to go. Steven was a great leader. I had my things in storage lots of boxes and plastic containers-- everything was dusty, been in there for quite sometime.
But I let them do their job of loading up, and they were absolutely great!! Then at my place, they worked hard at carrying everything up and took care not to break any of my mirrors or any other items i had. I would really and honestly recommend them for your move. Trust me I am an avid "reviews" reader when I need anything done, and I read their reviews before I hired them. If I were to ever move again, I am going to hire them. Thank you!!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
You will receive a courtesy call to verify that the information received is correct and to confirm we can provide the service you are requesting.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We show up in uniform, ready to work. We come with the equipment needed to move your items around. We go over paperwork and do a walk through to get a idea of the layout. Then we get to work.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure you have all of your padding and protection material available. Gather any shrink wrap, bubble wrap, mattress pad covers and TV boxes that you will need. Also having all of your boxes taped shut and stacked ready to go is extremely helpful. Be sure that all your table tops are cleared off and ready to be protected for your move.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled a wide variety of moves from locals, internal moves (where we move rooms and things around inside your home), apartments, lofts, office buildings, eviction and a few long distance moves.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part about being a mover is being able to provide exceptional problem solving solutions to our clients; in a time that is often stressful and chaotic.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All crew members undergo equipment training, safety training and continuing education when anything new becomes available.
