I have been in the moving business for 3 years now and decided to go into business for myself. We offer top of the line customer service and no job is too big or too small!!

Well they were 2.5 hours late to start. If that would have been it I can understand but throughout the day they were on the phone texting or who knows what. The one guy was basically wearing his jammies and was sick. Other than that they left a few scratches on the floor but I guess that is to be expected. Overall the job got done but professionalism was lacking.

Both of them have a temper and they a little slow and managed to charge me more. Also they didn’t take all of my stuff out. For example, to take a fridge using the back of the house through stairs, they wanted to charge an additional $100 fee just to take the fridge out.
I had to hire other helpers.
I would NEVER use them again.

Arrived 3 hours late, u had to call the provider to remind them of my appointment. I am more disappointed in the 3rd party that booked this company. I’m happy my things were moved but not happy that I lost 3 hours of my day. Had I not called the provider I wouldn’t have had any movers, I hope this gets better with the next customers.

Worst moving experience of my entire life. We asked them to leave before our allotted time was up because it was better at that point to just do it ourselves. First, they arrived without a truck when we had absolutely clarified when booking with Hire a Helper that we would not be providing one. We agreed it was an issue with Hire a Helper and decided to proceed by running out on the spot to pick up a UHaul.
Moving the bed frame downstairs resulted in significant plaster being scraped off the ceiling beam. While it is a narrow fit, you would expect professional movers to have a plan and enough care to avoid something like that.
They were on their phones and moving incredibly slowly - we expected a full service move and ended up running circles around the team. We were told we were “rushing them” when we only had a limited time to get this done. In that time, they continued to prioritize the easy things and not the big furniture we really needed help with.
The final straw was getting to the dropoff destination and a wood nightstand being dragged across the asphalt, resulting in damage to one of the legs. When I asked if he could please be more careful, he yelled at me and said “I didn’t do that”. When I remained firm, he continued to yell at me in my own home . A complete lack of professionalism all around. Wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

I train my guys the proper way to pick up furniture safely and to take every angle with finesse and care to keep your furniture and walls safe. Most importantly safety for everyone.
