The two men were college students and very responsible and extremely careful with our furniture. Some pieces of furniture were extremely heavy and never once did I hear a complaint - they worked for seven hours straight without a break - thank-you to these young men. Good luck with their careers .
The workers arrived on time and were very courteous. They did a good job. There was some confusion about their working for one hour in a two-hour slot. It would be wise to review the companies policies with the workers so they know beforehand that the job was prepaid.
Your right move was great. They were on time prepared for the job. We had trouble with our truck ramp and they were more than willing to help us fix the problem. While the movers were on time to do the job, they were extremely dirty. They had looked and smelled like that they had been drinking all night. They did need a lot of guidance with the move. I reserved them at the last minute on line to help me lift some heavy stuff into a POD for our move. They were very late and didn't call to keep me posted of when they would arrive but worked very hard and had a wonderful positive attitude that I appreciated with so much stress related to the move. I didn't know what to expect w…Read Morehen they arrived but they really came through for me and were a great help. They organized things very well in the POD and everything arrived well after the 400 mile trip to the new house.
The pair arrived over one hour later than the window of time I was given. Both were nice young people and worked hard, but one of the workers was a young woman who simply was not strong enough to handle lifting and moving some of the heavier items. We feared that she would injure herself or drop an item.
The owner called about 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment to cancel stating that 3 of the 4 helpers disappeared. I give him credit for being upfront but I can't recommend this company for that reason. Thankfully hireahelper.com was able to book another company for me that was able to come out later that day.
The 2 men showed up on time. Introduced themselves, explained the procedure of breakage during moving and went over the sheet I needed to sign once their job was complete. Then immediately got busy working. They worked very quickly and carefully and I was so pleased they came to help. I would recommend this company and these two…Read More men (Harvey and Tyler) to all of my family and friends. They were LIFE SAVERS!!!!!!! GREAT JOB.

They were 45 minutes late; prepared with what? I asked when the two hour meter started and they said when they got out of the car. So I said, then let's get busy. I mean really???? I hired labor and that's what I got. I worked side-by-side with them to keep the pace moving. They didn't really know how to load a Packrat/POD efficiently. After they left my wife and I had to unload about half and reload to make it all fit. Their "boss" called and one guy took the call yet wanted to end their job 5 minutes early and charge me full price. What about the time you we're working for me and talking to your "boss" if that's in fact who it was? I got the impression their intent was to run me over on time and run up the bill. I cut them off at two hours. Personally, I would not use this service again.
The one mover that did show up was very good. However, one didn't show up. They kept saying he's coming, hes coming, but he wasnt. I wouldn't have hired movers knowing …Read Morethis. Also the payment lady couldn't really rely any information or reason behind the payment and I feel like I paid too much. She also lost her temper pretty easy.
My experience was really unbelievable. Unbelievably horrible. When the two movers I had hired didn't show up I called the phone number provided, but there was no answer so I left a message. I didn't get a call back until about an hour later, which at that point was about 1.5 hours after the scheduled start time. The woman from Y…Read Moreour Wrong Move LLC said that they could not locate the person who was supposed to drive to the moving site. However, within a couple of minutes, she changed that story to state that the person had an unexpected "emergency," which was a significant change in story from her initial claim the worker was lost in space somewhere. At that point I knew I was dealing with somebody who was not to be believed. However, she said she could send a replacement crew for 1pm. Having few options, as I had come several hundred miles from out of town for this move, I agreed. During he down time I proceed to pack the truck myself. The replacement crew arrived shortly after 1pm. The crew consisted of two young men who were quite pleasant. One of them was originally scheduled to be part of the early morning crew and he confirmed that his workmate had simply not shown up or called to explain his disappearance. While the two workers were very pleasant, it quickly became obvious that they were not experience movers as I had been lead to believe. They were just two ordinary guys who were trying to make a living as best they could, but were seriously misrepresented and experienced movers. You would think that there would be some system in place that would authenticate such claims. Eventually we did complete packing the truck, but it was done with virtually no regard to ensuring that the items being packed would arrive in relatively undamaged condition. I would caution anybody contemplating using this company to think twice. I would also question the reliability of Hireahelper.com to provide quality service providers who are able to deliver the services they claim they can. All in all, a very poor experience I would not wish on anyone.
They were lazy workers who moved really slow. They had no expertise in moving either. This was a complete waste of money. Then the lady who was in charge of them kept texting and calling me about the payment when it had been released hours prior. I would not recommend to anybody. Stay away.
They were on time. They were tired, winded and very sweaty shortly into the job (which only last 1.5 hrs). They were an hour late, but they did come prepared. They were generally respectful although I didn't feel entirely comfortable with them- they were a bit too chatty and familiar with me. I would probably try another company if I had to do it again.
Both my husband and myself were very pleased with the two gentlemen that came to our home. They worked with us and did all of the furniture placement we needed as well as taking out bags of trash. (Cleaning out the basement). We would welcome both of these gentlemen back to work with us again. Money well spent!!
I requested two people for 4 hrs to work. One person came in time and the second one showed up after 4 hrs, and he is a student do not have much experience in moving the stuff. First, I must say the response from Jay Lofty was immediate. The helpers showed up on time and worked diligently through out the time frame. I hired Right Move to unload a 2-bedroom apartment's worth of stuff into my new place. They also told me that neither mover had a working phone, so could I relay directions and t…Read Morehen have them call back on my phone? A few minutes later, the company called back to say that the first rental location was closed and that I needed to send them somewhere else. When the movers arrived, they didn't have the forms I needed to sign. Since I don't own a printer and the company wouldn't let them proceed w/o the forms (I asked if I could verbally agree and then sign/fax the forms the next day, but they wouldn't let me), I had to relay directions to a copy place 15 minutes away. They made it back in remarkable time and began working just a few minutes late. I told them I needed my truck unpacked. They came in after the truck was 1/3 done to ask if I needed anything else done! As time went on, they went slower and slower. My truck was packed within 2 hours, so I knew it could be unpacked in that time, but they went so slowly I was afraid they weren't going to finish. The older man kept lingering inside between trips to the truck- he creeped me out, to be honest. Neither of the guys seemed to know much about moving. I heard my furniture scrape on the front steps or bump into doorframes several times. Overall, they were disorganized and didn't seem very knowledgeable. I wouldn't recommend.
I appreciated their help, but would not use them again - I've worked with other companies that were much more efficient and less costly. They were not on time, but did apologize for the delay. I originally scheduled the day prior to them showing. I received a phone call 8 minuets after the start time, saying they would not be able to show up. They did Show up the next morning an hour late. I wouldn't recommend them simply because the scheduler and supervisor didn't really care that they were creating more trouble and didn't seem like they cared that them being late was delaying our move and didn't want to compensate more for being late.
A couple of boxes that were to be left out of the pod were loaded in in a location where we could not get out causing us to purchase undergarments for our move. Workers were good hard working kids. They showed up on time and worked continuesly the full two hours. They wanted to please. Some of our furniture was very heavy and they did a good job carring it up the flight of stairs to the second story. We would use them again.
I waited to post the review until our stuff arrived and we saw the condition o our belongings. The movers called letting us know that they are running about 10 minutes late, which wasn't a problem. When they arrived we asked them to be extra careful with our almost new and expensive refrigerator. Well enough, they put a big de…Read Morent in it. No apologies, no promise to make things right. They did work hard, but they did their own thing. They refused to tie the stuff as we asked them to, stating that they stacked them up in such a manner that the things won't fall or shift. Many of the items got dinged, and nicked (chairs, lamps etc.). I can say that they didn't care much about our property and goods. I wouldn't recommend them t anyone and I would definitely not use them again.
The movers were early, very polite, worked quickly. They tried to take care of each object while moving, but did lightly mark up the walls with some of the larger furniture items. They finished before the estimated time and were very helpful. I would recommend these guys.
Although only one of the workers who were booked showed up, Tyler did an absolutely superb job of "covering" for his fellow no-show. Our two guys did a good job. One was quite inexperienced but he was strong and he worked hard. Based on Hire-A-Helpers recommendations at the web site for how many to hire, I sent my order in to Your Right Move LLC for 4 workers for 4 hours. One number gave me a messa…Read Morege stating the number was not available. For the other I got a voice mail. I left a message. At least another 1½ - 2 hours passed, but no one had returned my call. I called the 800 Hire a helper number and there was no answer except a recorded message to check the website. I needed help now, not to go searching on the web site, plus I had no internet up and running yet. It was increasingly obvious that the three who came were simply college kids doing whatever job they could take. We were grateful for their help and they were nice young men, but lacked any training. They were eager, willing to work, but less than careful. They did not follow instructions to read the labels on the boxes and stack them several deep in designated rooms after I showed them which rooms matched the labels– more than once. In the dining area they stacked a row of small boxes, one high along the wall. Then they stacked boxes at random, not rows, 2, 3, and 4 deep in front of the row of boxes against the wall which were only one high. They just hauled stuff out of the 2 PODS we had to unload and dumped it with no thought to organization, neatness, or helping us be able to find anything later. Because we've moved to a state where we have no family or friends (yet) we needed help, we could not do it on our own. Thus the need to hire help. One thing requested was to get two beds set up. One is standard type king bed on a metal frame. They didn't put the frame together right. Husband had to redo it. I had printed instructions for our king Sleep Number bed that sets up on a solid wood headboard/foot board bed frame. They kept asking me how to do it instead of reading the instructions and spent at least 45 minutes (all 3 of them) trying to assemble the bed. They failed. They didn't even put the bed frame together right. They'd set it up to look like the bottom support part of the bed was in place and all ready for the mattress cover with the airbeds and foam padding inside. It wasn't. None of the needed support was in place and they only put 2 screws and those weren't drilled in completely and stuck out 2- 3". They said the mattress cover, air bags and pump weren't in the bedroom, that they couldn't find the parts. We couldn't see them either. But later,my husband and I went in the bedroom and after much shifting and hauling, we found the boxes with those parts sitting right next to the bed but covered up by other boxes they'd piled willy-nilly on top. I'd instructed them to put the boxes labeled with the Sleep Number bed items in the bedroom in a certain place. They arrived at 10 a.m. and at 2 p.m. we still had no 4th worker and had not heard from the manager, We'd planned on paying a set amount. We had no choice except to have them stop after 7 hours (instead of the 4) so we could afford to pay them. The manager (owner?) finally called, but only after we asked one of the young men why she wasn't calling back. He called her then told me I could now call the manager. She had a very thick accent and I had to have her keep repeating what she said to me. She gave me at least 3 totally different reasons as to why the 4th worker didn't show up. I pointed out that if she was unable to line the 4th worker up, I should have been notified by email and/or phone. She argued with me. She finally tried to tell me that the 4th worker, she JUST remembered, was in the hospital. Okay. But why not let me know? Why not give me discount to help make up for it. But no. I had to pay an additional $145 and the work was not completed. More would have been done in a shorter time and I could have paid a bit extra to have them do a better job in clean up had the 4th worker been there. The garage was loaded in such a way that we just barely had a walkway get to the door to come and go and no path to access any other items. They did not clean up the mess they made in tearing paper padding off of furniture and other things. They left the PODS a total mess. Took my husband at least 3 hours to clean up their mess so we could return the PODS on time. It is our understanding that Hire-A-Helper is supposed to get a percentage of the entire job. However, the manager (owner?) INSISTED stridently that I pay her over the phone by credit card for the the 3 extra hours. I didn't realize what she'd done until I went to the Hire-A-Helper site to release the original payment to Your Right Move,LLC and saw that I should have added the added hours there. We are not saying that the young men didn't work hard, because they did. It would have been nice to get what we placed in the work order though, 4 workers instead of 3 and to have been either notified in a timely fashion or given some kind of discount. I was told that it was too bad, just one of those things, but they never give discounts. Unfortunately, we also saw the crew ding walls and frame work. This a brand new condo we are leasing so we now have to pay for repairs. We gave them a tip, but it was not for good service, it was an offering because we're sure these young men were vastly underpaid for this work based on the fees charged. I understand that Your Right Move was exceptionally busy that weekend (Easter) but it still is just good business to make sure you communicate with the client in a timely fashion why all the workers requested did not show up. The only way I'd use them again is if I had a guarantee in writing that the crew I hired would show up and follow instructions to the T. And we'd prefer a per person rate. We were paying for 4 workers for the 1st 4 hours for a total of $470 then $95 per hour for each added hour. We found the pricing a bit confusing the way it is set up. Since we moved from out of state and are still unfamiliar with many businesses and locations, we were grateful to have some way to find moving labor help.
I thought everything was good to go, only needed 2 movers for 2 hours to move the contents of my studio apartment to a new floor. Your Right Move cancelled via HireAHelper the day before the move with no explanation. At least I didn't loose any money.
I would not recommend using this moving company. I gave very specific instructions on my online request and in a follow up phone call on the items I needed the movers to bring. The movers did arrive on time, but they did not have any of the items I requested. The management person, Emma, called the movers four times during th…Read Moree four hours I had reserved, with the first call being only an hour and a half into the move. She was hoping the movers would finish early so they could move on to the next appointment. Her four phone calls took up about half an hour of the movers time. Least to say, the movers were not completely finished at the four hour mark, so my time ran over by about half an hour. The movers did not seem to have any professional training in loading a storage container. I had to completely manage the loading of the POD because the two men clearly did not know how to maximize space and placement of the furniture and boxes. Also, the movers scratched one of my most expensive pieces of furniture, which was one of the items that I had advised to them with which we needed to be extra careful. There were many things that just did not go well, with the main frustration being Emma.
Igor and Cecil did a fabulous job. They were able to unload my POD in the amount of time I had paid for. They were willing to move things around the apt. once they had brought them in if I changed my mind. I couldnt have asked for better service.
First assigned crew could not make it on time due to an accident (not on the job!) but the standby crew (from quite some distance) was there within 15 minutes of the appointment window despite a snow storm before, during and after the load up in the afternoon. The guys arrived and started working right away and were very polite and took good care of our stuff. They helped unload the better part of a 26 foot truck in less then 2 hours. I will use them again when we move to a house we buy. Excellent service Your Right Move is top in my book!!!!!
Both helpers were on time and eager to work. They were very pleasant people who worked very hard packing a POD full of furniture. They made numerous helpful suggestions and the overall job was completed in two hours. I would highly recommend this service and will use it again when I need an extra helping hand.
After arriving 10 minutes late, the movers were not able to move the heavey pieces which we had hired them to do.we tried to maximize the effort by asking them to move smaller items while we packed the POD. In addition, I was not pleased being charged for a full 2 hr 30 mins when they were 10 min late and inefficient.

On time, worked hard and didn't waste any time. My only complaint is that the company promises moving pads, blankets, wrap, etc - and they showed up with none of this. None of my belongings were damaged - a testament to their skill and hard work - but it made me uneasy.
They were supposed to arrive at 11 AM but at 11:15 AM I got a call from the crew that they had misread our address and used the billing address rather than work address and so they were 4 hours away.
