Michael, James & Heather were fabulous! I only needed the heavy furniture moved and was going to upstairs condo. They did such a great job on my huge 3 PC sectional getting it up and over the balcony and thru sliding doors!! they are efficient and friendly and will most definitely use them if needed again!! Also jumped the pos u-haul..talk about above and beyond!!! Thanks all??

Our experience couldn't have been better! Each member of the team was very kind and considerate. They were careful when moving things and took additional time with our antiques. The team wanted us to be pleased with where things were positioned and asked us great questions to help our move be easier and successful. I paid extra for a third helper, turned out to be his DAUGHTER!!
Am hours into the move it was announced they will be taking a five minute break. 20 minutes after that statement, the whole house now smelled of cigarette smoke! I then found them sitting on my chair in the garage smoking. I let them know I had emptied the entire upstairs of boxes and the down stairs den while they were on their “5 minute break”’ .
I was then told I’d need another container, so I ordered one for the next day and asked if they’d like to be hired for that (wish I had the time to hire someone else but I had to move out that day). They said it would only be a 30 minute job so they’ll do it. The next day just the dad and daughter arrived. Then the daughter asked what was I going to do with all the unused banker boxes (expensive boxes, still unassembled in sealed boxes) because she needed them for her storage. I advised there was about $200 worth there and offered to trade the boxes for a deal on this second move. She said yes because her dad owned this moving company and we began to pack the second container.
I watched the daughter bring our brand new lawn mower to the container for the dad to put in the container, and soon after, the job was done. I was then told there was a 2 hour minimum and even though we were done in less than an hour, I’d still have to pay for the full 2 hours! I then reminded the dad that his daughter said I could trade the boxes for a discount and he said no. She then said she’d pay for the boxes instead, so I asked her for $150 for all boxes and supplies, to which she said I should just give it to her as a tip! I told the dad what she said and all he said was a gratuity would be appreciated!
This guy owns this moving company and could’ve made his rate less for a small job!
I did pay them with a small tip and off they went.
When I went out to lock the container I saw my lawnmower at the bottom of the street! My neighbor showed my security camera coverage where they let go of the mower and let it roll away without even trying to stop it!
I contact the dad who said he thought I “made a deal with the neighbor to have my lawnmower” ??
I will say the container did look full and they seemed to find a place for everything (except my mower obviously). Other than that, I wouldn’t want them back.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Pack as much as you can into boxes. This will provide greater protection for your belongings and will make loading your truck/trailer/pod much easier. Unusually shaped items take up more space and make loading more difficult. Packing and padding your items are keys to having a successful move. Don't skimp on packing supplies. They are far cheaper than broken or damaged belongings. Start packing several weeks before your move date, taking it one room at a time. Begin with things you use less frequently.
