With nothing to compare my move to, it is difficult to evaluate the performance. The crew finished in 2 hours instead of 3 hours, which was great; however, I was charged for 3 hours. The movers met all my expectations.

The two young men, both college students, did an incredible job of snugly fitting our furniture and belongings into a large size Pod. I was worried when I saw how small the Pod actually was, but they knew exactly how to get it all in. Plus, they were both friendly, engaging and fast. It was a real relief to have such great help.

I had over 24+ moving blankets and three big rolls of shrink wrap to be used to protect my items. I told them about it. I reminded them. They didn’t wrap a single thing and everything arrived scratched and dented because of it. I understand wanting to use younger guys because they have good backs/knees/energy, but at least one of the three guys should be a seasoned moving pro who tells them how to properly Tetris a moving POD and to make sure all items are wrapped as well as possible. It’s a shame to get to the other side of the country and think “I should have just thrown it all away and bought brand new stuff”…

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
The customer can expect to receive a text confirming the date and time of the job. Through this communication they can also add any additional information that might be helpful such as: heavy items, long walks, specialty items, parking arrangements, etc.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will be on-site within the arrival window given. They will then do a walkthrough of the premises in order to strategize best practices for your individual relocation. They will then go over paperwork and begin the move.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Any prep the customer does on their end will quicken the move saving the movers time and, in effect, the customer money. Prep may include: breaking down beds, emptying drawers, clearing a walkway throughout the house, etc. Of course if these things are not done before hand, the workers will willingly do them when they arrive.
What types of moves have you handled?
After so many years in the industry there is nothing we haven't seen. We've done something so small as moving a couple of pieces of furniture to another room to relocating five thousand pound printing presses across town. We've relocated customers from California to Maine and everywhere in between. We can provide packing materials, packing services, loading services, transportation, unloading services, and unpacking services. In short there's nothing we can't do in this industry.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The bet part of the job is seeing the relief in the customers' faces when they see that they don't have to move anything or stress about someone else moving their possessions. it always makes me smile when they visibly relax. Moving doesn't have to be stressful.
What training do you provide your crew members?
The onboarding process for our movers is extensive. Probably the part I like the best about our company is that 100% of our workers are referrals from workers we already have. That means the guys we hire are already vetted by our own employees who would never want to work with someone unreliable or lazy. In fact when we interview a person we already know what kind of work ethic and character he or she has after talking to the person that referred the potential worker. Our workers are as good as it gets.
