I appreciated the help of having movers, however I felt as though my helpers did not have a plan, particularly with loading. This part of the process seemed to take longer than it should have and my boyfriend and I ended up assisting with unloading to speed the process up. In addition, I provided an ample supply of moving blankets and some of my furniture items were not protected by these blankets. A dining table I had purchased the day before the move was damaged during unloading due to not being covered. The movers identified that this was a result of an exposed screw on their dolly, on which the table was laid face down without protection. The table was scratched badly and I now have to either purchase a new table or pay to have this one completely refinished.

DMV was hired to unload 5 items from a truck. On the day of the move, I was getting mixed messages about their arrival time. My calls and texts went unanswered from the DMV contact person. The movers arrived over 30 minutes after the arrival window ended and were in a rush to complete the work to get back on schedule. The two movers were nice.
