We hired 4 movers for 4 hours to unload two 26 ft moving trucks. Communication in advance of the move was fine. In fact, they even offered to come early if they finished the previous job, which was great. Unfortunately, the day of things weren't quite as smooth. 15 minutes after the scheduled arrival, I called. Thankfully, my call was answered right away, but I was told that the movers would be approximately an hour to an hour and a half late. They did text on their way, which was nice, but they arrived two hours late for the job. I had asked for them to bring several dollies to move heavy items, and they didn't arrive with anything. Thankfully, we had two onsite that they borrowed. It was hot, but there were multiple breaks, including smoke breaks. I even found one of them smoking close behind my very old wooden barn which had hay in it and into which they were unloading items. We overheard that one of the crew was a no show for earlier jobs which is why they were running behind. The guys tried to make the most of what was clearly a challenging job for them, which we appreciated. Two guys in particular worked diligently, while one looked like he would rather be somewhere else and one looked very new to the work and I thought he was going to hurt himself. Some things were dropped but with most things in storage it has been difficult to evaluate if anything was damaged...I don't think so. The price was good and in fairness they got the job done. However, we'll be going back to our more expensive movers next time and paying for the extra travel time for them to come to us -- the speed, quality of work, communication and care for items was night and day difference.

We will call you the day of the move and keep in contact with you through out the day. We will swiftly and carefully move all your belongings. We will be polite, respectful, and honest.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
You should have everything already boxed. Unless you need help with disassembly, everything should be disassembled with all the matching pieces secured with the item. You should pick up your moving truck prior to your scheduled start time with us.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done small and large houses in MA, RI, NH and ME We have moved offices, hospital equipment, and carried, set up and broke down equipment for several production companies including the Boston Red Sox.
