These guys were fantastic! I had to change the time of our move and they were totally accommodating. They actually arrived an hour early which was awesome (called ahead to make sure it was ok!). Then the actual move...we moved to a third-floor walk up with 13' ceilings. They were SO hardworking. Literally ran up and down the stairs. Unloaded a uhaul filled to the brim plus a car in an hour. I would recommend Independent Movers to anyone in a heartbeat.

They were on time and prepared for the job. They worked quickly and efficiently and finished the job in less time than was allotted. They even had to take a couch apart to fit it up in the attic. They worked hard and didn't stop for a break. They were respectful. I would certainly recommend them. The only complaint is that they made a few marks on the walls but not dents.

Bottom line: these guys are absolute pros and unbelievably courteous and efficient. Maybe a little pricey but once you see how they work you'll understand that they are worth every penny. Communication with Ventislav was excellent - he got in touch as soon as my booking was confirmed by HireAHelper and even reached out a few days before my move to confirm once again. When I asked if they could arrive an hour earlier than their scheduled time, they were prompt with their response saying they would try their best even though it was a short-notice request (as in a 2-hour notice) and they were indeed able to accommodate my request to come earlier. With regards to their actual work, I was blown away with how swift and efficient they were. They were able to carry multiple heavy boxes up a narrow stairwell without even grazing any walls or railings (to put things in perspective, the spider that had been hanging in the same position on the side of the stairwell for a week did not budge and was not disturbed during the entire move!). Very respectful of my property. They were able to neatly load my moving pod with a small studio's worth of furnishings in 15 minutes! I was so impressed and if I ever need movers in the Greater Boston area in the future I'm definitely going to hire Ventislav and his guys again. You should feel extremely confident doing so too.

Hire a Helper did a great job assisting me with my moving arrangements. I highly recommend them. They handled everything professionally and politely. I will be buying another house and will be using the moving company Independent Movers again. Bin and Matthew were terrific extremely hard workers.

Vin and time were on time and they called me ahead of time to check on the details.

They brought their own tools so they could take furniture apart.

I offered them some coffee and drinks and they just kept work through with out stopping for 4 hours straight.

They were very respectful and packed my furniture and belongings carefully.

They are the best!

Very impressed with Independent Movers. They arrived right on time (a bit earlier in fact) and got right to work. I gave them some brief direction and they were off and hauling all my stuff up and down 3 flights of stairs on a hot, muggy, July morning. They systematically moved stuff out and packed it in the two pods waiting across the parking lot... oh yes, they had to transport the stuff across the parking lot... condo living is not easy. They packed the two pods and strapped everything in for transport to storage. They were professional and respectful of my belongings and took great care moving and loading my things. They did not stop until everything was moved, packed and tied down. Great work ethic and motivation.
Two guys, two hours, too many stairs and two pods.... they were soaked by the end and still had a smile or two to spare. I would use them again and recommend them to anybody in need of a helping hand for any moving situation. Hopefully the unloading to my new place will be with way less stairs and during a cooler month. Thanks guys... You ROCK!! :)

They were on time (even on September 1st!). I was worried that the stuff I had would not fit in the SUV I rented but they found a way to make it work, and were pretty fast as well. They worked very hard to do the job right, in a timely matter. This was sort of a complex route in terms of having to stop at a friends to pick up a furniture piece in the Middle of the move and they were totally calm about it and just went with the flow. Honestly these guys were great and I recommend their services. I would definitely use them again!
