Unfortunately our move did not go as planned. We hired Just Us to assist us in loading our truck for a move out of state. The communication prior to our move was good, they let us know what time and confirmed who would come a few days out. I did ask about loading certain items ( this will be important later) and was told many times the team are professionals and it will be good.
On the day of the move we received a text that the team was running behind, not a huge deal but since we were hitting the road later that day it was a minor issue, move started 1.5 hours later than expected but not a huge issue. The guys were nice and professional and seemed to have experience. Once the loading began I noticed some of the larger furniture items were not properly wrapped, a few times I asked that they add more blankets in certain areas and they obliged. We did have some avoidable damage to some wood furniture that I accept, perhaps they could have wrapped them better but who knows. They did do a good job of maximizing the space as I could never have loaded the truck as efficiently as they did.
My big issue came when it came to a few flat screen TV's. I knew that these should be packaged with care and was told that they would be wrapped and placed " in the sofa" or in between mattresses. Unfortunately for our largest and most expensive, this was not the case. When we arrived to our final destination the television was sandwiched between the WALL OF THE TRUCK and the bottom of the sofa( the wood part not the cushion,) causing multiple cracks to the screen. The movers who helped us unload (also hired from the same service) called it out immediately and suggested I take pictures and notify HireAHelper.
I am really disappointed that despite my numerous inquiries to buy whatever packaging they recommend (and despite numerous assurances from the JustUs team,) our tv was loaded this way and ultimately destroyed. We did get refunded for our move and given a small "insurance" settlement of $.60 a pound but we ended up upside down on this arrangement by over $500. My biggest issue is that this could have easily been avoided had they taken the time to load the TV as they said they would. So in summary:
1. Monitor how everything is loaded, just because you provided blankets doesn't mean they will use them
2. Buy a box for the TV, they didn't tell me they wanted this until after the issue occurred, do not make this mistake. ( The sofa will not help you)
3. Things happen in a move but some extra time and care could have avoided these issues
I would not hire them again simply because they owner had the opportunity to do the right thing and simply stopped responding despite evidence of the negligence with the TV. I do not often leave negative reviews but felt it was warranted in this case. Hope this review helps

Tyrone & his crew were spectacular! Originally there were going to be two, but they brought a third person to help as my husband and I were moving out of a three story walk up. Tyrone was great about communicating with me. He called me a few days before the move and again on the day of. They were on time, friendly, careful, expedient and efficient! I highly recommend Just Us Movers & would definitely use them again.

I also booked the guys from Just Us Movers to unload the contents from a 1 bedroom apartment into a storage unit. I booked the wrong size truck which required 2 trips to empty the apartment and fill the storage unit. The guys had a great attitude and were very thoughtful about loading the truck to maximize the space. There was even space in the storage unit after they unloaded everything. I would definitely work with them again for another move.

The guys from Just Us Movers were so fantastic! They communicated before the appointment to confirm the details of the move and they arrived a few minutes early for the appointment. I could tell they were very experienced moving furniture and boxes onto moving trucks. I would absolutely work with them again.
