They were respectful of our property with the exception of a few major items that were dinged or ripped. They showed up on time and worked consistently but then there was an hour left and the loading was done but we had some packing left. They didn't offer to do any packing, and unbeknownst to us (totally our fault) they didn't offer proration of hours unused so we released them, tipped them and gave them water and not one time did they proactively offer to stay and help with additional packing work. While it's our fault for not reading their policy, I don't like the under-handed attempt to take advantage of not working that last hour, taking our tip and not clarifying they wouldn't be refunding the unused hour. I specifically asked about it and Tyrone (presumably the owner) never clarified this point as I thought Hire-A-Helper would refund the last hour. Very bad response and bad for business. This was my second time hiring them but I'll never hire them again nor would I recommend them.

Tyrone and his team were on time for two jobs for us - loading up a pod and then unloading it a few days later. They handled our heavy and large pieces with ease and care. I would absolutely use their services again in the future and recommend to anyone else who needs moving labor help.

We had a little shenanigan - reserved a 10ft U-Haul truck for our 1 bedroom apartment because the website indicated that it’s a good size for a studio to 1 bedroom. Nope!!!!! (Don’t trust U-Haul descriptions ugh!) It didn’t even fit our king sized mattress, box springs, bed frame, etc. So we had to switch out our truck to a 15ft, which we wasted about 40 minutes of. However, Just Us Movers did a great job at completing the work within our reserved time slot. They were courteous, showed up on time, worked hard, and got everything done! I’d definitely recommend them to anyone.
