They were so professional and EARLY! They packed the truck in a very efficient way, to make my out of state unload easy.

The 3 men from Competitive Movers located in Wilmington, Ohio sent to pack our POD were nice enough fellows, but they did not impress us with their performance.
We were expecting uniformed professionals. What we got were two sons of the owner and his childhood friend. The older worker was extremely talkative, had to be admonished to keep working on our move and openly shared his tales of romantic woe and love for alcohol.
Our padded furniture (leather couch and two armchairs) was not shrink wrapped or protected in any way. They did not bring a single tool with them. No dollies, no straps, no wrenches. Nothing. I had to lend them my tools for them to disassemble our treadmill.
We contracted for two hours based on Mr. Tackett's (the owner) assurance they could pack our things in two hours. We ended up having to pay two overtime hours in spite of the fact that I and my wife (in our early 60s) helped carry boxes and items out of the house for the entire four hours alongside the workers.
If we had not been required to help with the physical labor, we may have been able to keep a closer eye on how our things were being handled and stored.
Overall, we had a very disappointing experience and will not recommend Competitive Movers to anyone we know.
