IJC logistics were a now show on the scheduled day/time. Apparently Hire A Helper who had mediated scheduling the move cancelled the IJC contract without contacting me or rebooking my move.
I did not know about it until calling IJC because of no show only to find out that they were not coming since Hire a Helper had cancelled heir contract.
I called back the HAH and they were able to find a replacement for the next day.

The two gentlemen took extra care with my furniture. They unloaded the entire container within an hour, then helped us move other heavy boxes and furniture to their correct places. Very polite, friendly and extremely helpful.

Inspected my stuff after it arrived and while I was told things could shift, I didn't expect some of my things to be broken. Those that unloaded it (a different company) said the packing was poor. Nothing was strapped down or wrapped and that’s how it's suppose to be when loading. And things shouldn't be packed/loaded wood on wood. I'd just be weary or be clear when booking what you're looking for when working with this company. Call someone and talk on the phone, not just book online.

Moving from one home to another is a very stressful endeavor especially when you are 81 years old. I found Hire a Helper and IJC on line. Not having moved very often in my lifetime I was gambling I was making a good choice. I was and am pleased with the final result. The movers arrived on time even though Pine City addresses can be confusing. They immediately got to work and were careful to protect my property. They did a good job placing my furniture in my new residence. I hope at my age I will not have to do any more moves. Too much work. If I would need movers again I would be happy to work with these young men again. They were super polite and efficient. I had 3 friends with me and they commented on how well the move went. These young men deserve a well done from four fussy senior citizens.
