The guys at A-1 Movers were fantastic! They arrived on-time, ready to work, with masks on hand. Their main job was to empty a 7x7 POD, as well as move some furniture and boxes to new locations to make way for the contents of the POD. They were exceedingly careful with our belongings, and worked quickly and carefully to finish the job. All along they were polite, respectful, enthusiastic and funny. We will definitely call them back in if we are ever faced with moving heavy things again!

On the whole, the movers did a great job moving our boxes and stacking them securely in the moving truck. They even made sure that all of our items were stacked within the four linear square feet that we needed to get the lowest possible price for the move. They also finished in a timely manner, well under two hours!
The reason that I did not give a five star review is twofold. First of all, the movers showed up to our apartment not wearing masks and came into our apartment pretty much right away not wearing masks. They eventually asked if they should put on masks, and we said yes, and they did. I commend them for asking and for eventually putting masks on, but I was surprised they didn't do so right away, or keep their masks on and then ask for permission to take them off.
The other reason I can't give a perfect review is that at one point in time we were outside with the movers as they loaded up the truck and one of the movers was smoking a cigarette and blew smoke toward us. I don't know if it was purposeful or not, but it did not seem professional to be smoking during a move. At the same time, this also meant he did not have his mask on -- like we had earlier requested -- and he was close enough for the smoke to get toward us, meaning he wasn't social distancing well.
These would be relatively small points during regular circumstances, but I did hope the movers would take the global pandemic more seriously. I was pleased with the overall service, but not enough to give five stars.

we always call on the day of the move , my crew comes in full uniform ,with shrink wrap ,dollies , and tools , professional, caring , polite and willing to help in anyway , we start by padding and shrink wrapping all of your furniture and making sure floors and walls are protected , and the we strategically pack everything into your pod or truck with great care and precision , making sure in the process your are completely comfortable and satisfied with our work
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
all you needd to do is make sure everything is in boxes , leave the rest to us , we will take care of the rest . our job is to make your move as easy and stress free as possible
What types of moves have you handled?
we had handled all types of moves , big ,small , we also do commercial moves , we handle unloading of 53ft trucks at Renewal by Anderson window company every week and have for the past 5 years
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
meeting new people , being able to help people and making them happy , we enjoy the personal touch we inflict on our customers ,
What training do you provide your crew members?
all of my men are trained with me personally for there first 3 months , so i can teach them the way we do things here at A-1 Movers , we are not like the rest , we put our heart and soul into every customer we move ,
