Around Kansas Movers is a growing, family owned, moving AND cleaning company. Our staff has the experience and knowledge they need to complete your move quickly, and with great care. PLEASE NOTE: Due to wait times at the visitor center, we do not offer on base moves at this time. In regards to scheduled move times we only guarantee the start times of the first moves each day. After that there is a small chance of travel delays between locations. For this reason afternoon and evening moves will generally be given a 2-4 hour start time window. The original company I had hired was a no show and the Around Kansas Movers guys came on super short notice, at the end of what had already been a busy day for them and did an amazing job. They were clean, courteous, professional, and super nice. Hopefully I won't be moving again any time soon, but they are the only company I will be using in the future. I will also definitely recommend them to anyone I know that is moving.

The two gentlemen who showed up were extremely professional and hard working. They were literally running to and from the PODs containers into the house while unloading our items. They worked all the way up to the time limit and their hussle saved me from having to pay for more time. They were very careful with our items and went above and beyond to get them to the intended location inside the house. I will definitely be using them in the future!

Amazing!!!! The were super easy to schedule at the last min and emptied a 26ft uhaul (2guys) in barely over an hour!!! Not to mention it was up two flights of stairs! Would highly recommend!!!

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Our customers can expect a friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced staff to arrive and take the stress out of their move.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Please be sure all items are packed and cleaned up to speed up the process of loading, and ensure the safety of staff during the move. We do offer packing services, but when hired to load only you should have this complete in advance. A clear walkway through all spaces in the home is key to a smooth move. If this isn't possible our crew will gladly help to prepare a walkway upon arrival. We supply plastic wrap and rope on all moves, but we only supply furniture pads on moves we load AND unload.
What types of moves have you handled?
We handle mostly local home/small business relocation, but our crew has handled several cross country moves.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I enjoy meeting so many people from different backgrounds. Getting to know people, and most of all, seeing them happily settled into a new home. Seeing the ease of all the moving stress is such an amazing feeling. I am so glad we get to be a part of that.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All crew members are started on a crew as an extra, they shadow and learn hands on with the crew.

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
