The only good thing about my experience with Dolly, men moving or the two men that they sent. Let me start from the beginning. I hired them online a week before through higher a helper. I don’t recommend using their service either. The reservation was for three men. They said they would bring a furniture, dolly and tools and also straps. My reservation was 2-4. Per what I read they have an hour grace period. Period. So meaning they could show up at 3. They did not arrive until 5:35. Only two men showed up and a regular dolly no straps or tools. Luckily I brought extra straps. And since I had so much time waiting, I already dismantled the two bed frames. And the gentleman that I spoke to that apparently owns Dolly men moving company, not really apologetic. Offered no solution to fix the situation. And when I did raise my voice, he threatened not to bring his men out to a threatening situation. So not only is this man sexist they overbooked and they lie about who’s going to come and what they are going to bring. And the reason I say they overbooked is because the night before he texted me asking if they could start at 8am in the morning. I reminded him that the pod was not going to be there at that time. In this move was to move my deceased parents furniture out of their home. And when I voiced my complaint with hire a helper, all I got back from compensation was $64. To lie and manipulate someone in an emotional period of time is disgusting. The only reason why I chose Dolly men moving was because they didn’t have a lot of people and I felt bad. They did have five star review so I figured they just needed more people to move in. They would gain a better clientele. You are never going to gain good clientele when you lie and deceive people.
