They were great. I didn't think everything would fit in the trailer but they made it work. Great guys. Couldn't be happier.

First, they arrived 2 hours later then the scheduled time. Second, they bumped into the ramp of the uhaul while carrying a pristine bedroom dresser taking a chunk out of the bottom of the dresser. Third, after being there less than 15 minutes one of the helpers started selling his own service's of driving the moving van from Kansas City to San Antonio, Texas, and didn't stop until we said yes, which turned into a nightmare in and of itself. I do have to say that the other helper was professional, and seemed to be a good worker. Would I recommend Hire a Helper to anyone - NO.

Where to start? On the date of the move they were 5 hours and 16 minutes late. With night and severe thunderstorm approaching coupled with the fact that the truck was too small (my issue) the move began under enormous stress. A little more than an hour in with only 8 feet of the the truck filled the storm was fast approaching - the owner came to me and said "I know the guy who owns the Olathe Budget Rental and will bring you the 26 foot truck, I will not charge you for today, I will bring a second crew and we will transfer the loaded items from the 16' truck and finish the move." This did not happen. I was never able to reach a person at the Olathe shop ... I was told by the owner when I called him to give him an update - stating that I was not getting through to his "friend" ... he said "Okay, let me know what happens" ...luckily my rental location still had a 26' truck which I ended up transferring the 8' of loaded items before driving back to my apartment and continued to move my household items myself while I WAITED again for the moving crew to arrive. This day they were only 3 hours later than what they told me. During the move I found one of the movers smoking INSIDE the truck (by this time I was too upset and said nothing) I later smelled marijuana and assumed it was a neighbor, but late learned from my daughter that is was in fact one of the movers ... I did not get their names it was the white guy that was smoking inside the truck. I planned to stop their services at the two hour mark and as it turned out we were almost completely loaded by that time. When the lead mover called in to complete the job the owner tried to add on an hour from the Friday night fiasco...At this time I called the help line and they were able to honor the 10% discount which was promised to me when I called them on Friday just before the movers initially arrived...and only charged for the two hours on Saturday. Had the owner not made up that crazy story about his "friend in Olathe" and "bringing two crews" I would have gladly paid for some time on Friday. Considering the lack of communication on the initial day of the move....I would get no response to my calls and text messages or told "sorry we are running late...be there soon..." and the smoking I would never recommend this company.

At the last minute I had to find moving labor for my move. I found A & J Relocation Services on HireAHelper. Tony and Chris were very efficient in how they handled the move and provided excellent care in moving my possessions. They also were very customer focused and answered any questions that I had during the move. Thanks for a job done well !

We had a last minute need to get a few guys to help us move our furniture into the house. It was about 100 degrees and we didn't think that we could find anyone. Well we were wrong, A&J Relocation Services sent two strong gentlemen to our home within two hours and they worked until the job was done. They did an excellent job, we had no issues and I would use their services again, without question.

The guys were on time and very nice, but we're a bit overwhelmed with the size of the move. I did let the company know they were moving items from storage from a four bedroom. I feel they should had sent more experienced movers with this size of move. One of the guys told me this was his first move. I felt putting six or more boxes on one dolly was a bit much and didn't wrap some of the expensive pieces, resulting in several broken pieces of crystal and glassware

These guys kept in touch with me the morning of the move, notified me they were going to be a few minutes early, were very careful to make sure items were protected, and unloaded us in record time.
