Jose and his co worker were on time ready to work and total professional! I would recommend them all day long, I was amazed how the packed my POD, it was origami! It was a hot day and the POD location did not make it easy for them.

I rented a POD and Hire a Helper was recommended to assist with loading and unloading. It never occurred to me that there would be no accountability. Different people loaded and different people unloaded. I don't know which group damaged my belongings. I have moved up and down the California coast, cross country, always by a name brand mover, and my belongings arrived just fine. I cannot say that about my experience with Hire a Helper. I would not recommend nor would I use them again. Beware!

Mover's response:

Hi Valerie, we our sorry that your items were damaged but it wasn't not us. We have pictures of furniture damaged before we even touched it to cover us and will be submitting them. Also none of the furniture was protected with furniture pads, blankets or stretch wrap. Whoever was in charge of loading (not us) on the other end damaged your stuff.
