The two young men from Reliable Moving Services that unloaded our POD were very hard workers, friendly and took much care with our things. This was our second POD that they unloaded and they were prepared with the hand truck, rolling cart that was needed to unload our heavy items. I really appreciated them very much. I would recommend them and use them again if I had the need.

They never showed up and they never had the courtesy to call. Every time I called them, no one ever answered the phone. And they do not return phone calls. Never use them, they are not reliable or professional.

Don’t even try to use this company. There name should be Unreliable. They never respond to any messages left by voicemail or email. The HireAHelper representatives couldn’t even get in touch with a live person. I tried to confirm my appointment with them two days out in order to provide some specifics about how to get into my gated community and parking since I was going to be on the road the day before the reservation date. I called and emailed several times but never got any reply. So I finally had to call HireAHelper and have a representative try to confirm my reservation but she had the same no responses. So she helped me cancel the order with them and find me a new company at the last minute. And, believe it or not, this company doesn’t even realize when they have been fired. I had already canceled the order with Reliable and was sitting at dinner after my long road trip and the company sent me an automated text and voicemail asking me to confirm or cancel the reservation. Based on this experience, I am not sure any real people work for this company.

I would not blame the crew & cannot fault their work: however, my sole complaint is that they were scheduled between 8-9 , which became 11-12 , which ended up with them showing up after 4 p.m.Fortunately I had nothing planned & they did compensate me for the delay, which I appreciated..The team of 4 men was an excellent crew & worked hard , showed the utmost respect & yes, despite the delay I would use them again.

The Hire a Helper team , were prompt , friendly, new exactly how to arrange the many boxes in the pod. They made sure things were secured, and we're done within the two hour agreement. They arrived in the time window that they said they would and literally jumped out of their vehicle and started working the second they rolled up! I had a huge truck that was packed and had to be separated between me and my daughter. They fully accommodated us, along with “Tetrissing” everything beautifully into my storage unit. What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Follow up call to confirm details about move such as address, if any gate codes, types of items to be moved, and if any moving materials are needed. We alway will bring dollies and hand-trucks and all the tools to the trade otherwise.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Years of moving experienced crews with every tool needed to get the job done in a timely manner.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Anything that is not done we will do with notice from packing service, to disassembling dresser mirrors and beds, hooking up appliances to be moved and electronics. Of course if it is done prior will reduce tthe total time your move takes.
What types of moves have you handled?
We've handled long distance moves and local moves. We have done many office moves disassembling cubicles and packing files. Generally due to our many years in moving industry our say is, "it's always the same rodeo, just a different bull". From loading and unloading truck rentals, portable containers, and the large semi tractor trailers, there is not much we haven't done.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Workout while making a living! Travel within certain radius is a plus. Meeting new people and networking.
What training do you provide your crew members?
On the job training is a must. You can read and watch all the videos about swimming but you'll never learn until jumping in the water.. However we also do video training and questionnaire for moving certain types of items heavy and fragile.
