This was the absolute WORST moving service I have ever used in my life. I contracted for a service for 2 guys for 2 hrs (No Truck). The mover showa up with an extra guy WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT. I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD BE CHARGED $87 AN EXTRA HOUR. AFTER ADELOHIA STARTS THE JOB, I AM CHARGED $115 PER HOUR FOR THE EXTRA GUY THAT I NEVER CONSENTED TO IN OUR ORIGINAL CONTRACT. INSTEAD OF PAYING $227, I paid over $600!! IIT TOOK 3 GROWN MEN NEARLY 4 HOURS TO PACK UP A 10 x 20 storage room and they left major furniture items behind because they refused to listen to me. I told them repeatedly to take just the furniture and things that I could not lift on my own. Of course, the truck was packed. I will report this to the Better Business Bureau. I have been overcharged for a service that was a bait and switch 2:guys and they add a 3rd guy without my knowledge or consent. It has NEVER taken 3 grown men 4 hours to pack a 10 x 20 storage room and leave stuff behind!! WTF!!
When we arrived at the new storage unit, they literally just threw everything in the room. It was not neatly stacked and now I cannot fit the same stuff that fit in

I would definitely use them again. Hard working and friendly guys on the job, they got me moved in good time and my items felt organized and secure for a drive across state lines.
The only small hiccup was that the Hire a Helper confirmation email stated that I would receive a call from the movers to confirm the order within 24 hours of the email, but I did not ever receive a call. It was fine and eventually I called the contact myself and confirmed. But overall a great experience.

Zack and Kevin helped me move and put things in 2 locations. They were very helpful, polite and worked hard! Everything was handled with care. They confirmed what needed to go where and followed instructions really well. The owner, Jim is fantastic. We had a bit of a misunderstanding and once we were able to clear the air everything was fine - Jim even called me to make sure everything was good - great customer service. His goal is to make the customers happy - and they succeeded! I would highly recommend them and would use them again.

Adelphia was much better than movers in Florida. We were very disappointed with the movers in Florida on April 21st. Lamp shades, dresser, and bed frame were all damaged. One of the bolts for the headboard was cracked and Adelphia tried there best to re-assemble. Adelphia felt very bad and could not believe how careless the other movers were when they loaded the U-Pack cube.

This is the first time I used such a service to hire helpers with a move. I wasn’t sure what I was going to get, and I was pleasantly surprised that the three guys that showed up were professional in every way. It was an excellent experience from beginning to end. The guys were very conscientious about taking care of our belongings and went out of their way to see if there’s anything more they could do to make the move smoother for us. When the time comes to move again, I will contact this company immediately.
