Our movers were phenomenal! We had Harry and Jamal and I can’t speak highly enough. Both were very courteous, hard working, very accommodating and they were fantastic with our kids and dogs. They moved our large house in great time up flights of stairs and unfortunately in the rain but did not complain or slow down at all. Highly recommend

I feel badly writing this bad review, because of the three movers, one was professional and helpful. The other two, however, were cranky and in a bad mood from the start. Despite being asked, the did not keep the mask fully covering their nose during the move. It took them over an hour to go from my old residence to my new residence, which is, at best, a twenty minute drive. When I called to see where they were, neither the company nor Hire A Helper answered the phone. They stayed late to finish the move, and then I was charged for the extra time, despite the fact that I wouldn't have needed as much extra time if they didn't take over an hour to commute. I would not recommend hiring them.

We come prepared with the hand trucks, dollies, cargo straps and packing supplies to make your relocation as smooth as possible. We roll in the trucking mileage, driver, travel time and moving fees into one upfront affordable price.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
From the moment you reach out to us we ask for your name, both addresses and an inventory list. Once provided we plan the whole move for you. Want help carefully boxing up your possessions? Great - our moving crew will be happy to take that stress off your back the day prior to your move. Rather do the packing yourself? We'll get you hooked up with boxes, packing tape, padding, markers and even color-coded labels.
