Darnell and his crew worked hard and packed my moving truck so well. Nothing moved in the truck because it was so well packed! I was also very impressed with how fast they worked. They were very careful moving the furniture and there were no marks on the walls or floors where the heavy items were moved. I definitely recommend them!

Darnell and his team exceeded my expectations! They were very responsive leading up to the move, and let me know exactly when they were planning to arrive. They were on time and very professional. My husband was concerned that everything would not fit into our uhaul but Darnell is a master stacker, and made sure there was enough room for everything. I had several big baby items from my baby shower that I was afraid of getting damaged by the heavy boxes and furniture in the truck. Darnell and his team took extra care removing the baby items, and putting them in my car. The team did such an amazing job packing the truck and tying everything down that they were able to take the baby stuff out of my car, and fit it on the truck in a way that it would not get smashed. They packed the stuff out of the storage and house in record time. I would highly recommend Space Maker Movers.

We hired three young men to help load out our moving trailer after our scheduled move fell through. I put in the request with only 2 days notice.
The good: The three young men were very courteous and respectful. They worked quickly in hot and humid conditions (90+ degrees). They accepted my bid on very short notice.
The bad: They arrived almost an hour late. I had to call the dispatcher for updates vs receiving them automatically. They were only mildly proficient at packing the trailer.
Overall: If your looking for hard workers to carry your stuff from the house to the trailer, these are your guys. Don’t expect full service or experienced movers.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Preparation for move day should consist of tightly sealing boxes to insure your items are secure. Also providing blankets and shrink wrap for your furniture is a great help for protecting your items also.
What types of moves have you handled?
Space Maker Movers have covered large and small moves all over the Tri-State and even has gone as far as Connecticut and Maryland! There is no item that cannot be muscled up by our guys such as gun safes, pianos Etc.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The best part about being a mover is you have one less bill that you won't have to pay, no gym membership fees because everyday is a full blown workout.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Space Makers Movers consists of former athletes and pre-existing movers so there is very little to training needed for our guys. We will bring technique and tons of respect.

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
