Paid $255 for 2 hours, they came and moved stuff for 40 minutes and left after saying that they couldn't get a couch up the stairs, there were 2 couches and a box spring left. I took apart the box spring and carried that up myself and got the help of a friend who was able to get the couch up with me. I should not have to pay $255 for 40 minutes when they barely tried for the couch and would like a refund.

I highly recommend Jay's. Rakeem and Darryl were on time, prepared, worked hard and were extremely respectful. I was very impressed with HireAHelper. When the first person was unable to assist, I received a phone care from HireAHelper saying they were looking for a replacement and would call me shortly. And they did. Outstanding!

I truly could not recommend Jay's Moving and Hauling. Other than being timely, the experience was not adequate. The team was not tooled to disassemble my king-sized bed and told me they didn't have the tools and I had to do it myself. Luckily, I held back some tools to do the job. Also, the loading of the rental truck was sloppy and to many items were loose. After leaving and making the statement that "we wish we could have packed the truck better", I back-filled with boxes from our garage. Upon unloading the truck by another "Hire a Helper", it was discovered the screws from a 6' bedpost was not adequately secured, scratching my office desk during transport. Upon contacting "Jay's Moving" and sending pictures of the damage, they stated that it was not their fault. When asked to provide a remedy/repair for the damaged desk, no response was given. Use another moving company if you value your furniture.
