They arrived on time although were very slow. They took even more time by shrink wrapping everything. To the extent that they shrink wrapped my snowboard even. One of the movers ate sunflower seeds the entire time and spit them all over my carpet and inside the moving truck. So I had to do even more cleaning.

Christian & Powee (sic) were great! They showed up on time, were clean & friendly, and went to work right away. Although I didn't have to ask, they wrapped furniture & lamps with their own supplies!

Although there was an unexpected delay in arriving for my move, once they came the movers really got going. They notified me that they would late and also when they were on the way which I appreciated. My movers did an awesome job of handling my furniture. The office manager followed up with me all through my move. I would definitely recommend them!

Cheerful and efficient at unpacking my storage container. Arrived late but it was the end of the day and they called to warn they were behind schedule, and still finished within my timeslot. Remember to charge your power tools. Basically they got the job done.

I had a great experience with Portland Movers. They were right on time and were patient as I was *not* exactly on time. They seemed a bit confused about the job even though I wrote detailed information in my job order (do remember to call them ahead of time to confirm the appointment, per instructions!), but they were flexible and willing to do anything as needed, including go up steps with their dolly. Both Christian and Edward (sorry, may misremember the name!) were very hardworking, and worked non-stop until the job was done. They didn't even need the full two hours, though I had a pretty packed PODS.
I gave them four stars instead of five because I thought they could have done better stacking the boxes and things. I told them anywhere, but I still wished for more attention as to what was heavier and what was falling apart (like a bin with the lid tipping off) and needed extra care. But nothing was ill-treated by any means. They were very nice, professional, and did an amazing job in such a short amount of time. I was very happy with choosing them and would definitely choose them again.

They showed up 5 hours late without any of the supplies that they said they would be bringing. I helped them until they were done at 10pm. The owner Cristian said he would give me a refund because of all the trouble and would call me the next day - never happened. I called 3 days later and he said he would call me the next day - didn't happen and I never received any discount that he had promised/offered due to the bad service. Also, one of the movers that showed up admittedly was a friend that had been called that evening and had zero experience moving and packing. The only thing that saved them from being rated lower was the fact that they at least finished the job that night and did a good job.

Our two helpers, were fantastic. Christian had a great organizational sense and both just jumped in to do the work. It took longer than we thought but only because we had more stuff than we knew. I would definitely use your company again.

Portland Movers were excellent to work with and the HireAHelper format was perfect for my needs. We had a POD get delivered that was delayed on its arrival, which left us scrambling to find a new service to help us unload our belongings. Portland Movers were available through the HireAHelper for a last minute unload assistance and came through perfectly. We finished unloading a 2 bed 2 bath apartment in about an hour and a half. The only small complaint I had was that the day of the move they were a little bit difficult to get ahold of by telephone, probably because they were busy with a previous client. I would suggest hiring someone to man the phones for all the jobs and then relaying messages to specific locations as needed. In terms of the actual unloading work, though, I have no complaints whatsoever. They were diligent, hardworking, friendly and helpful.
