The crew arrived on time and were friendly but we sustained lots of damage to our furniture and we can't seem to get any response to our requests to submit claims. The added third person actually seemed to slow the crew down and was definitely not worth the cost. Would not recommend.

Movers were good but slow. They were very careful with our items but took quite a while to shrink wrap and blanket wrap all items. Had to sign a waiver upon their arrival directly to family Movers Express (not via HireAHelper - this is not usual as we use HireAHelper a lot) as we approached our scheduled 4 hours I received an invoice via text message directly from family movers express for an additional 2 hours. I was not happy with this because the 2 movers I had were taking their time unloading and I had estimated this job to only take 4 hours. I called the main contact and he became very angry with me when I told him we needed to speed this up and his movers would be finished in 15 minutes. They only needed to unload and put these items in our warehouse. I appreciate the actual movers, I did not appreciate the main contact sending us an invoice for an additional 2 hours and then being angry with me over the phone as I tried to explain to him that we would be finished up in the scheduled time. I will not use this moving company again.
However, conveniently you forgot to mention the two hours extra invoice was canceled after we found out the time was not needed.
You also forgot to mention that you wanted to get your own guys to unload our own truck and after you were told you cannot do that you got upset.
You also forgot to mention that the guys worked over what you paid and did not pay for that.
We are very glad to hear you will not be using us again and we have informed Hire A Helper we would be refusing service in case you tried to book again.

Family Movers Express did an excellent job moving our family! Two movers were able to move us quickly and were finished sooner than we anticipated. They were very polite and worked hard without stopping on a very warm day. We would gladly recommend their services to our friends and family in the future!

Family Mover Express did a great job moving a number of furniture items across the Research Triangle Area. The crew arrived on time and were very organized. They wrapped up the furniture carefully and were prudent about loading and unloading heavy items. All items were unloaded and placed inside the destination as I requested. The crew and their office communicated well with me, so I was not left wondering. I would recommend them.

They were prompt and courteous. I was worried I did not do enough packing as prep for them (I didn't know what to expect, or what they did vs. what I had to do) but at one point I was told to "Just relax, we will take care of all this for you". They carefully wrapped all my wooden furniture and reassembled it in the new place. I would absolutely recommend them, or use them again.
