I wasn't truly satisfied. The service was slow and they didn't have enough equipment. I had a small upack container and it was boxes. I was unloading them myself just so they could hurry. They broke one of the legs on my entertainment console.
I also didn't get a receipt or invoice after service, which felt strange to me. I get if this is a side hustle for you but please be professional and be mindful of time management.

The two movers they gave me were helpful and professional. It made my move so much easier and pleasurable. Took a lot of my stress away from the day. They arrived 30 minutes early and had the supplies needed to do the job properly.

Carlton and his team were great. I would recommend him and his team. We were moving beds, dressers and other heavy things to different rooms. He called me after booking to confirm the job and then stayed in touch about his arrival time. When here they worked efficiently and carefully until the job was complete. Like I said, I'd recommend him.

We needed movers to help us relocate our furniture into a POD and haul a newly-shipped, 300-pound bathroom vanity up to the bedroom. Our two-quarter landing staircase added a serious challenge to the task.
Carlton and his colleague tackled the job with impressive professionalism. They remained friendly and calm throughout, working tirelessly from start to finish.
We're already planning to bring them back when we unload the furniture. These guys are top-notch! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends or family.

Carltons crew is a well meaning company and want to do a good job, but they were not satisfactory with my move, resulting in my items not receiving the attention they needed which ultimately led to many things being broken. I intend to file a claim. They didn’t treat my household goods as if they were theirs, which is my expectation for a packing/moving company. Some items were packed with care, others were not. Seemed to have different experience levels and attention to detail within the crew. I have photos depicting items just thrown in boxes, resulting in smashed glass. For instance, our heavy kitchen aid mixer was packed in the same box as fragile wine glasses from our wedding, resulting in many getting broken. This was poor decision making. Additionally, communication was an issue. I had instructed certain times (pictures and frames) to be wrapped in bubble wrap and left an example of how I wanted the frames to be wrapped, but they were left unwrapped and loaded, resulting in scratches/chips. Similarly, I asked for our couches and chairs to be bubble wrapped but they were not, resulting in scuffs and stains from other objects rubbing against them. It was clear that proper care was not given to our keepsakes and belongings, and am very disappointed with the lack of quality and poor attention to detail. I unfortunately will not be using this company again, and advise heavily supervising/ managing this crew. I liked them personally and had no issues in that regard, they just didn’t live up to expectations in the professional aspect, which is what I was paying then for.

??I am very dissatisfied with this company. I hired them to load and unload furniture at my current home. The job was to load the furniture into a U-Haul and unload the U-haul at my storage unit. They showed up with four individuals. With four movers, the job should have gotten completed. They loaded the items on the truck and left me with an entire truck to figure out how to get it unloaded because they had another job to get to. During the move, one of the workers ended up leaving, and we were left with an older gentleman and a young lady that obviously couldn't handle the load. If this company were professional movers, they would have sent someone from their team to assess the move? to ensure they had enough time to load and unload. This did not happen. I knew I should have gone with a bigger company with a replicable name.
But the nightmare doesn't stop there. After I moved into my current property, we started to unpack boxes and put our furniture back together. We noticed that the movers took the legs off our furniture and removed the screws taped to furniture pieces. We cannot find bedroom brackets, chair brackets,? chair legs, etc. This costs us additional money because we have to contact the manufacturer to send us additional screws and parts we cannot find. I dealt with several moving companies before this company. Carlton's moving is a freaking joke?!!? I advise anyone not to use this company.
Also, ?Hire a Helper needs to remove them from their list of movers. That won't happen, but please be aware when dealing with this company.

A call to alert Customer we're on the way. Making sure we carry all the supplies they will need on the job. Discussing expectations and details about the job.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Have everything packed and sealed. Dresser drawers out of dresser (if not, we will shrink wrap each drawer). Update movers on everything in House/Apt/Condo before moving.
What types of moves have you handled?
Long distance (100 miles) loading trucks, unloading,. Loading, packing; driving large diesel trucks to Pennsylvania for moving jobs, up mountains. Load/Unload antique furniture, heavy woods, lifting items up curved stairwells, moving safes that weigh over 900 lbs.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The appreciation from Customer that we did a great job.
What training do you provide your crew members?
200 pound Armoire hold for 10 mins walk 20 mins back and forth to see how long they can hold and how far they can go and to train their mind for heavier items in the future. Lifting weighs after work. Teaching younger movers how to pack a POD, Truck.
