The workers were on time and prepared with dollies. They did work hard and were respectful of me and mostly respectful of items loaded. I would do things differently in the future. I was one person with them and was busy giving them the items to put in the pod. I should have sorted my boxes by size and I should have put all the heavy boxes together. I don’t know if they balanced the load. I do know they did not fill the space in the middle where they kind of stacked the outdoor and porch furniture. I do know they did not load my mother’s corner cupboard and a large piece of art. I do know these will not fit in my car. I am really disappointed as now I will have to spend money on another transport. I should have had another person watching the loading. I had 9 ropes available to tie off throughout the loading. , I saw one man touch one rope and I don’t know what he secured. I am worried about my load shifting in transport. I provided some large items that I thought would be used as walls to steady the load. I don’t think any were used as walls to steady the load, they were pushed up against the side walls. I think these Men need to watch a video about loading a pod. I ended up taking my 8ft ladder out of the pod as my brother told me to be sure nothing will block the door from opening. I also read to load soft stuff near the top to fill all the space. I don’t know if that happened. I will be anxious until the pod is opened. I will not know if their work was satisfactory until my pod is reopened.

They were early and gave 30 minutes prior notice of arrival time.
They began work immediately and wasted no time getting items unloaded.
They were friendly and polite.

Terrance, Tylor & Ire were a godsend!!! First of all, I called many other movers before finding Happy Helper's & the other companies refused to help me. Either they didn't work with POD's or they didn't serve my area. I was so grateful that Happy Helper's accepted the job & came all the way from Wilmington, NC to Kinston, NC where I lived. Every part of the process was seamless & alleviated so much of my stress. Booking them was easy. They will either answer your call right away or they will text. Britney was amazing at coordinating everything. I was even able to change the date of the move with no problem. As for my movers, Terrance confirmed with me the day prior & also called me from the road & let me know when they were on the way & gave a time estimate. They were super punctual, they got to work right away, they were amazingly fast & they finished everything I needed in the scheduled time! They loaded 2 large POD's & disassembled furniture for me. All three of my movers were professional, friendly & communicated through the entire process. They truly went above & beyond & worked like an elite crew! I can't thank them enough. They truly saved my life. Their fee was very reasonable as well & worth every penny! Book them today. You won't find anyone better!

Not the guys fault. I requested movers to unload the truck and assemble our furniture, put everything together, washer, dryer in place, hutch, dining room the, mirror onto my big bureau, beds together, .
Well when they were getting ready to leave, I asked, you haven't put everything together, in its place. And the response was 'we do mot do assembly, we just unload, bring in' they dod put the top of hutch, on base and put 2 beds together, but that's it. We have solid Oak furniture and we're both over 65, sad face. Luckily 1 of our daughtersand 18 yr old grandson will be here later to help Move things and assemble what needs assembly.
Not sure whose fault it is, but I am going to blame Hire a Helper for Bad customer service because I specified what we needed.
ALSO, we paid for 3 movers and got 2.5 because the 3rd guy is not well and probably should not have been doing this type of work to begin with.

I paid for four people to work four hours starting at 8:00 AM. They arrived at 10:08 AM with two people and gave us no communication about running late or sending half the number of people we paid for. We were still charged the entire amount.
