HireAHelper's Review Of Done Right Moving Services - A Local Charlotte Moving Company

Thank you for your feedback. We take all customer concerns seriously and would like to provide factual clarification regarding this appointment.

Per policy, this customer received communication in advance notifying them of the crew’s delayed arrival. Additionally, as a courtesy, this customer received no rescheduling fee charged to them despite canceling the previous day and rescheduling due to delays with their container delivery.

Per policy, at the start of the job, the crew reviewed all required additional billable services under Done Right Moving guidelines, not a HireAHelper policy, including a long carry fee/200-foot and the need for two ratchet straps to secure items for cross country transport. Before the work began these services were explained, the customer agreed to these charges, and their HireAHelper paperwork was updated accordingly to reflect the customers’ direct agreement with the movers/Done Right Moving to provide additional services.

After the crew completed the work—including the additional labor the customer approved—the customer declined to honor the agreed upon charges. This placed our staff in a difficult position, as they had already performed the extra work in extreme heat and relied on the customer’s stated agreement.

While we regret that the customer feels dissatisfied, the crew acted professionally, followed all policy requirements, and completed the services exactly as agreed. The additional charges were both disclosed and approved before work began.
