I hired Movers-R-Us twice: once through hire a helper to move me out of a place and once through the moving company directly to move me in. I regret using them twice, and I most definitely regret not using a hiring service.
I was moving out of an apartment into a pod. I provided the two movers with over 30 blankets to protect my furniture, under the impression they would know how to protect wood furniture in a pod. I will say they were friendly and quick. But probably too quick because upon opening the pod, every single piece of furniture (including 50+ year old mahogany) was damaged from very clear lack of protection.
I can’t recommend them to anyone with furniture to actually protect. (And the move in was a terrible experience, but since I didn’t use hire a helper, I won’t go into detail here.)

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
You should expect a call from our sales manager within 24 hours of your booking. On this call we will collect all pertinent information about your move. And you’ll be contacted the day before your move date to confirm the logistics.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On moving day you will get a call from the crew lead with an eta.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To prepare for moving day you must first declutter. Decide what items you will keep and what items you will get rid of in every rooms of your home. Then you should think about all the fragile items that will require extra and special packing. Gather what your budget is for the move. Next, get packing supplies (mattress covers, boxes, lots of tape, rapping paper, markers/labels, bubble wrap), and start packing. Pack and assign a color or number to each room of your home to facilitate where items will go.
What types of moves have you handled?

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of moving is playing Tetris while loading a truck. Moving as a whole is an art, when done well, but safely packing a full house in a truck is as satisfying as completing a row in that childhood game. We look to bring that same ease and satisfaction to our customers on every job.
