The A1 Moving Team arrived on-time and ready to support the move. They moved quickly and worked diligently with our heavier items. However, they lacked an attention to detail which resulted in some fragile items being damaged. A large, open area was provided for materials off-load but they did not always utilize the space efficiently, resulting in some additional reorganization after their departure. It also appeared that their equipment was in need of replacement due to wear and tear. I believe that if the team would benefit from new equipment (dollies) and an identified crew leader.
the dollies we brought were fairly new, your items were too heavy for our dollies which are graded to 400 lbs and both of our dollies broke apart while moving your items. To move items that are 5-600+ lbs requires specialized, heavy duty dollies. Also, hiring 4-6 guys as opposed to just 2 guys is what your job required. We told you that we would try to move the super heavy items but should not be held accountable for minor damages because you did not hire enough movers to safely move your items. One of our guys even got hurt while doing this for you and now has a different occupation and long-term physical problems. Also, we work as a team and sometimes one of us steps up as a "crew leader" to handle the customer service on the job site, but when you have items that are so heavy that they might break our equipment and our bodies we have to work as a team and everyone gets to voice their opinions and concerns with each other.
