Jack and Antonio for Martin Movers came in and performed our moving job on short notice due to North County Pro Movers failing to show. Never, Never, Ever Use North County Pro Movers. They were a no show! North County Pro Movers were no where equal to their name. They were supposed to show at 8:30 a.m., but by 9:00 they were no where to be found. After failing to get through to North County Prov Movers for over an hour, I contacted hire-a-helper. The provided a substitute moving company Martin Movers in a very short time frame, and at the same rate I had been quoted by North County Pro Movers.
Martin Movers were very good. Hire-A-Helper advised that Martin Movers would be to us within the hour, and they arrived on time, were prepared for the job, and worked very hard. They even brought a 17 foot truck and two two-wheel dollies to help load and haul to our new location at no extra charge. While we were only going two miles, it came in handy to expedite the move. We had rented a u-haul truck ourselves, but the extra truck definitely helped make the move go smoother. I do not think Antonio was nearly as experienced as Jack, but he worked very hard and made up for it. I would use them again.
Hire-A-Helper were most apologetic and made a very amenable adjust to our cost for the two movers.

Anthony was awesome. He worked efficiently and was well organized in his thought process when loading our rental truck. I would recommend him for your moving needs. Just have a good idea on your truck needs I underestimated.
