Ron and Kevin from MD Expert Movers were excellent. They were on time and prepared for the job with the proper equipment. They were polite, friendly, and fast! They were very respectful of my antiques and household goods, clearly wrapping my furniture and carrying them down a flight of stairs. They carefully packed my Pack Rat storage cube. I would highly recommend them again.

Ron and his assistant came on time and worked for an extra 35 minutes without a break. They worked their magic in arranging all our furniture into a 16/foot POD.. They were Outstanding. We moved many times during my 21 years in the Navy and this packing job equalled the best we saw. We were so pleased we requested the same people for our next packing job this week.

MD Expert movers were very thorough and got all our PACKRAT. They stayed an extra hour to get all our belongings in the container, no problem. I was able to add a few boxes to the load as they worked with no complaints from them!
Only one thing I was odd; they didn't use rope to tie down the furniture but the self-adhesive wrap for wrapping the furniture. Since it looked strong enough, and I'm not sure if they usually use rope but couldn't because I didn't have any on hand, this doesn't affect the rating.
I would use them again if we sell our house and move away permanently.

Moved into a 3rd floor apt on a hot humid day; the guys came started immediately, had a system to getting especially the heavy furniture and boxes up the stairs and into the apt. They had my pod unloaded and things in the apt in less than 2 hours!
I would highly recommend them and thank them for their hard work!

The crew that serviced did a very nice job! They worked straight through for six hours, stopping only for water. The truck was packed nicely - to the brim, I might add!
I did not give five stars for two, small reasons:
1) one of crew loaded several boxes that I had asked to NOT be loaded.
2) Some of the items were scratched during transit - not enough padding was used between these items, which - when they vibrate and/or shake - rubbed causing minor damage.
I would use this crew again.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
