Demetrius and his team were fabulous! They communicated well before they arrived and were very friendly! They moved everything for us quickly and were careful with all of our stuff. I definitely recommend them!

First off, the movers themselves were AMAZING! No complaints! But the owner of the company is sketchy as heck and being investigated by hire a helper because he tried to cut them out of the deal which is against their policies. He tries to charge for more time than used so keep receipts! That’s what saved me.
And a reminder YOU were the one that tried to get over. YOU told the guys to not tell me about the extra time. And you were going to try to pay them directly.
YOU STOPPED THE clock at 4:45 and the guys left at 6:30 . Stop acting like you’re abiding by all rules because once I told hire a helper what you did they adjusted the order accordingly.
Clearly you’re just upset because you wanted to get over and that didn’t happen

While Irongate did a good job, at the end of the load up of the POD, the lead guy, who I believe is the owner of the company, Demetrius Jackson, turned to me and said I owe for a third hour AND transportation fee, coming to $270 above and beyond Hire A Helper fees of $490, which I later found out already included a third hour and ZERO transportation fees.
Mr. jackson basically ripped me off, demanding payment right then and there before he left. I paid it.
I then called Hire A Helper to complain about the transportation fee. They said they don't charge such a fee. And I mentioned the third hour and that is when they said it was already included.
Hire A Helper then helped me recover the $270 overcharge Mr. Jackson stole from me through fraudulent means.
Do not ever use Irongate services because they are crooks.
I recommend Hire A Helper remove Irongate from their roster of subcontractors due to Mr. Jackson's clearly regular practice of ripping people off.

Customers can expect a stellar service from start to finish! From the initial contact til the moment payment has been made. We show up on time, fully equipped and ready to rock!
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
They can expect a courtesy call before the move starts, the crew arrives, takes a look at the home and does a pre check. That means checking around the house to look at the condition of the items so that we are on the same page. Then we bring in the tools and start getting the items ready for transport. In the truck the items get packed safely and securely to ensure a successful move. They can expect smiling and friendly movers because customer service and satisfaction is our top priority!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Everything should be ready for the upcoming move. Dressers should be empty, unless otherwise stated Items should be in a box ready to go TVs and appliances should be unhooked from walls and connectors Have your items being moved and items being discarded to be organized beforehand. Disclose all items of extreme importance and value beforehand
