* Were they in time?
They were 1.5 hrs early and I wasn't ready for them. That's stress#1
**Were they prepared for the job?
They didn't have the proper tools to disassemble my bed. I don't know what they would have done if my handy man hadn't been on site at the time.
***Were they respectful of my property?
That's a big NO! I have specific instructions of how I wanted my antique curio cabinet loaded onto the Pod. (Upside down with delicate legs facing up) I discovered it on its back, with items thrown on top of the bubble glass. They loaded my childrens bicycles on top of the glass cover of our Pinball machine. They loaded my flat screen tvs on their side or upside down or laying on their back. When I complained to Hire a Helper, they contacted Jody's to discuss these things. Jody's flat out LIED and said they loaded the Pod to my exact instructions.
****Would I use them again?
ABSOLUTELY NOT. In fact. I wish I could afford a billboard to warn others to steer clear of Jody's Moving &Storage.

They were late, but it was due to the job before ours getting extended, so no real fault of their own and they called to let me know eventually. They were scheduled for 6pm and didn't get here until 8:30pm. They didn't show up with any of the moving aids I was told they would have, like a furniture dolly or hand truck. One of them must have gotten a cut at some point, because we found blood on the comforter on our bed and a little more on the floor in our kitchen. I gave them some bottles of water and they left them on the ground in front of the PODs container. They worked hard and did a good job packing the container, but other than that the service for the price was very disappointing. I had them scheduled for a second day and decided to request a different mover.
