The movers failed to communicate properly on the day of the move. We were originally given an arrival window between 10:00–11:00 AM. After calling both Porch Moving and PODS multiple times, we were told the movers were running late because they were finishing another job and would arrive around 12:25 PM. However, when they finally arrived shortly before that time, they told the person waiting there since 9:30 AM that they actually did not have another job — they were simply late. Their explanation was that because they only expected about two hours of work, the delay was acceptable.
Another major issue was that they did not bring the furniture wrapping materials that were specifically listed on the invoice. Before booking, I clearly explained to the hiring company that I wanted movers who provided wrapping supplies, and Porch Movers confirmed this service both verbally and on the invoice. Instead, the movers had to leave during the move to purchase supplies themselves. The move took an hour or less because we disassembled the furniture for them and did not have an entire house to move.
Communication throughout the process was extremely poor. I attempted to contact the movers the day of the move and received no response. Reaching anyone at Porch Movers or PODS was also very difficult. I spent over an hour on hold and had to call back on multiple days just to speak with someone. Their phone system and customer support process seriously need improvement.
In addition, the people supervising the move for me said the movers did not seem familiar with how to properly use the straps we purchased to secure furniture inside the POD. I have not yet received my furniture, and I am genuinely concerned about whether it will arrive intact and undamaged.
While I was eventually offered a $50 discount, it does not adequately address the amount of time wasted, the stress caused, or the lack of professionalism throughout the experience. Based on this experience, I would not use these movers again.

One star because the job was completed. However,
The movers showed up reeking of weed in my house with an infant. They took an hour and 15 minutes to carry out 15 boxes and then argued the entire time. One guy walked off the job. They refused to fill the truck forcing me into two trips instead of stacking items on top of each other. They broke multiple priceless items. I do not recommend using we get it done. Owner is now dodging emails asking to a refund or compensation for the extra time his workers forced me into.
