How should a customer prepare for moving day?
I always tell my customers that the most important part of preparation is having miscellaneous items packed into boxes for us to carry out. The same goes for glass and fragile items inside of drawers and cabinets, safely pad and box them separately for transport or have your service provider handle the box packing if it is part of the service.
What types of moves have you handled?
I handle both commercial and residential moves. I've handles specialty items, rare finds, antiques, statues, pianos, safes, fine art...
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The most satisfying part of being a mover is the smile on my client's face once they realize that their belongings are in good hands. My favorite part of this career is that I'm always building new relations and meeting new people with unique stories and up-comings.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All crew members are trained to attend to details. Anybody can man handle a piece a furniture, but it takes a trained mover to disassemble, pad, wrap and safely handle significant belongings with care. This is especially important when it comes to baby grand pianos, safes and appliances.
