Avoid Ferguson. I really don’t like leaving bad reviews but it is deserved. Started out with them being 90 minutes late. As they loaded our two 16 foot PODs the crew of 4 got off to a good start but pretty quickly it was clear 2 were more likely to take breaks or do nothing more than half of the time. While loading they dragged boxes across the floor and left scratch marks on LVP flooring. They also dragged mattresses with protectors across cement and tore up the plastic protection. We have not yet unloaded in our new city so don’t know yet if there is damage. Fast forward to the end of our 3 hours they were barely half done. All the breaks were slowing them down. And as the day progressed they got slower. Took 5 total hours and 3 of the 4 were basically throwing in the towel. As they loaded I made one request to load a bit differently for maximize space and this seemed to put the team leader in a bad mood and he basically just stopped loading and asking me passive aggressively if his next move was okay. When I told the manager / owner who called me he said well I’m the boss as the homeowner. I responded that my earlier requests to use shrink wrap and tie downs was ignored tho lol. I have him feedback on his team and all he said was thanks, I’ll get on them. Well that didn’t help me. It was a terrible experience. I should have done better due diligence as I looked after the fact and couldn’t find a Google biz listing. No wonder. Yet somehow they were 4.9 on moving staffers. What a joke. We will see if this review actually gets posted.

We had an outstanding experience with Ferguson Brothers Moving and Trucking thanks to Sedrick and his amazing team out of Greenville, SC! They truly went above and beyond to help us move our belongings—even in frigid weather—and never once complained.
Sedrick was incredibly professional and communicative. He kept calling and touching base with us ahead of time while we were waiting for our moving box to be delivered, which really put us at ease during a stressful move. On moving day, they arrived right on time, were extremely cooperative with directions, and handled all of our items with great care and respect.
You can tell they genuinely care about their work and their customers. If you’re looking for a reliable, hardworking, and friendly moving crew, I highly recommend Ferguson Moving and Trucking/ Sedrick and his team. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

HireAHelper had not notified Mr. Ferguson that the unload date had changed to a day earlier than the original order. Yet he stepped up immediately & had a team out to unload the PODS crate.
Crew handled furniture, boxes, crates with care, putting things in rooms as indicated. No damage to ANYTHING or to the premises. GOOD JOB!
I was very pleased. Mr. Ferguson called to be sure the process was going well & apologized again for the mixup, even though it wasn’t his mistake.

These guys were on time but they brought nothing with them. They had no tools or moving equipment as stated on the request. Luckily, I had a hand truck. They did not know how to load a POD and had to rearrange a couple of times. They rearranged boxes which stacked heavy boxes on top of lighter boxes resulting in damaged items. They did not use the moving blankets provided nor any of the old sheets to help protect the furniture. Furniture was scratched and damaged when we were unloading the POD. There wasn't that much to load, a bedroom set, living room set, dining table and four chairs. This should have only taken an hour to load and yet it took them almost 3 hours. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend this company for any move.
