We paid for a two-person crew, and while both showed up on time, one helper immediately walked out because he was unhappy with the company's pay rate. Jumpstart couldn't find a replacement, leaving us completely in a bind. The only reason this isn’t a 1-star review is because of John. He stayed, took on the extra workload, worked an additional hour, and was a massive help to my wife and me. John was amazing and deserves 5 stars, but Jumpstart's management and service were highly disappointing.

Helpers were good conscientious workers. The guy I spoke to over the phone was not helpful and rude and I almost cancelled because of him.

I hired two movers, but only one showed up at the last minute—and he didn't bring any moving equipment. Fortunately, my building had a cart that we were able to use. I ended up helping him with much of the heavy lifting just to finish loading before U-Haul arrived to pick up the container. The company refunded 30% of my bill, but that didn't make up for the stress and extra work. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Revised. With the first team, I explained that the furniture was in the back of the storage unit and all of it had to go. They assured me that I had nothing to worry about and that there was plenty of room in the truck. They loaded all of the boxes and then the furniture. There was not enough room. Some things were broken and things had to be left behind. It necessitated another move. I communicated with the manager, Calvin, about my concerns. He sent a new team. They did a good job. JW
