Plan Your Strategy
Packing an odd-shaped mirror — or anything with a tricky shape — takes a little extra planning. No matter how big or irregular the item is, the process is a lot easier if you develop a plan in advance. Here's a simple step-by-step outline to follow.
Assess the Mirror

Start by looking the mirror over and considering how much material it will take to pack. Plan around odd bits that stick out from the frame. Measure the mirror in all dimensions, and don't forget to weigh it if it feels heavy.
Gather Packing Materials
At this stage, you should have all your packing materials gathered. You don't want to be hunting around for tape when you're half-packed or have to make a run for more bubble wrap.
Plan the Wrapping Technique
If your mirror has sharp corners, you’ll need to encase them so they don’t break off, punch a hole through a box, or damage other items. Cut foam or cardboard to cover irregular edges. Consider using a custom box if the mirror is too fragile or needs special handling.
