Danny and Dave were great! Arrived on time and got to work! They were great about making sure they were taking the right stuff and helping ensure all delicate items were safe and avoid any potential damage. Drop off was great as well as they took direction on where to place items and were happy to move items around. Great attitude and just happy to help. Thanks guys!!!

Wonderful, perfect movers. Matt and Trina were so helpful, warm and friendly. They were very careful with my belongings and were willing to go the extra mile. Plus they were warm and friendly which put me at ease having them in my home.

The lady was great but the two other men were worthless. I ended up being forced to pay for an additional hour and also had to bring in outside help due to me being disabled and not being able to help. We have used this type
Of service in the past and never had this bad of an experience

They were on time.
The lady was great.
Everyone else sucked and ended up costing me a lot more money
She even picked up a dresser when they wanted to dolly it.

She would have gotten 5 stars but the other two destroyed it and it sucks I couldn’t even tip her after being charged an additional hour for the other two people

Trena and Matthew were awesome. We had them booked for four hours, hoping to empty two of the largest pods that were FULL, and they delivered!

They were on time, prepared, and very respectful. I showed them the house, and then they immediately began unloading and staging items for different rooms, moving things efficiently and with great care. Everything ended up in the right room and was stacked and organized nicely. It was easy to set up furniture and unpack in all of the rooms thanks to their care.

These two were great together, managing even a few very heavy items and tight corners. They had the right equipment and clearly have experience. Entertainment center, antiques, dishes, framed art, and everything else was all successfully moved.

They worked hard for the full four hours, with minimal breaks. They're friendly and personable, great communicators about possible damage from transport (not even remotely their fault, and they definitely paid attention to details), and they got the job done. I would definitely use this pair again.

They kept me informed every step of the way. Arrived well prepared, and operated at an urgent but also safe pace. Treated property with the utmost of respect and care, especially a large, delicate sailing ship model in a glass case. I would very much recommend these folks to everyone.

**updated reply to owner’s response. I was never once offered a refund from the owner. This is a blatant lie and truly reflects the integrity of this individual. Instead, he texted my personal number upset with my google review, threatening to sue over something he didn’t like, and further insulted me before blocking me from a conversation he started in the first place.

At first the owner, William, seemed nice and very accommodating when I was trying to confirm a time with helping to unpack my uHaul and was able to get me in same day instead of the next morning. Sounded great! Was supposed to be two movers for 2 hours, so 4 man hours total. One guy showed up and said another was on the way. I showed him where to put things and asked if he wanted to start or wait on the 2nd guy. He said he’d start. The 2nd guy showed up maybe 10-15 minutes later and began helping, this kids name was Sebastian. The first guy was taking his sweet time and doing minimal work. One example was walking in the front door holding only 2 small lamp shades that were bedded together, walking at a snails pace. He ended up leaving after maybe 20-30 minutes total “work” which he’d said when I first talked to him that he was probably only going to be there half an hour to an hour tops. William later claimed this guy left due to a family emergency, but not sure of the truth in that since he told me up front he wasn’t staying long. This left just Sebastian. He was a very polite young man and working very hard, but kept saying another person was enroute to help, but nobody was showing. He kept asking if I’d rather reschedule or continue, and I said well I’m here now and need this done so I’d rather keep going. Keep in mind all this time I’m trying to keep my 2 year old boy entertained and out of the way into what ended up being well past his bedtime. We were staying in a hotel, not the house just yet, so I couldn’t just put him to bed and help. I noticed several times Sebastian seemed to be making things a little more difficult than they needed to be, and was taking things thru the house rather than around to get them downstairs. I even had my dolly out for him to use since he had no tools of his own. He said the rocks on the side were not allowing the dolly to go well so continued bringing things thru the house (I have used the dolly on that rock plenty of times myself with minimal issues). This led to damage to my door and my handle punching a hole in the wall that I found the next day. Finally after maybe an hour and a half of solo work, another female helper showed up. I told them at this point if they could just get the rest of the big stuff I couldn’t handle alone, I’d get the rest myself in the morning. With her help, they worked another 30-40 minutes or so before I said that was enough and cut them free. Sebastian apologized many times for there not being 2 helpers and stated he would tell his boss not to count the first worker since he really did nothing, and called the total 3.75 hours. I said sounds good and they left.

The fun part was still to come. The app I hired them thru attempted to charge me for 2.75 hours (5.5 total man hours) instead of 2, which I disputed and gave a summary of the debacle, citing the laziness of the first guy and the inexperience of Sebastian, even though he did work his butt off. This is when William started chiming in.

The gist of the drawn out process that ensued is he was extremely rude and kept saying I was lying about his guys being inexperienced and lazy and that he gave me 3 workers and was only charging for 2…blah blah blah. He tried to charge for 2.375 hours instead of 2. I said I absolutely refused and cited what Sebastian said to me. He said his workers don’t get to count the hours that he does, when I clearly laid out the actual full time of all of them actually being less than 4 total man hours, so less than the contracted 2 helpers for 2 hours. In the end, the app I hired thru allowed the original payment with no extra, and I was refunded $170 to repair the damage they caused.

If you can’t provide the contracted workers for the contracted time, don’t offer to come same day. Maybe also use a proper time keeping app to show when your workers start and stop service vs just making up whatever you want. Do not recommend.

This customer libeled me in his review stating this about me in 3 different reviews 'The owner is an absolute joke of a human being and I would never use any service of his for anything again" Despite only talking to me one time about moving up his job a day. So not sure how he could make such a negative connotation about me from one 20 second conversation. I asked him to take that part out of his review. As far as the refund the customer was texted this : "We would be more than happy to reimburse you for what we were paid for your 2.375 hour job which we got paid for 2 hours if you are still so upset over a month later. $XXXX

The final time charged was reduced to 2 hours and the damage was paid for as well. We are sorry that it still did not meet the satisfaction of this customer on a job we moved up a day at his last second request. We will strive to do better on future jobs. I have also offered to fully refund this customer what we were paid for on this job.

Avalanche will be prepared with the blankets wrap and protective items needed to protect your items. We will be on time and finish your job in a timely manner.

Have everything off the items we are moving. Make sure all your boxes are ready to load. Clear off all items off of all the furniture that we are moving.
