Lead mover scratched my floor and blamed it on my furniture. No accountability. The guy on the other side of the furniture moved his side in place with no issues.

They did a fairly good job listening to where I needed to things to go. Very polite. Seemed like 2 of the 3 guys were new to the job of unloading PODS, but followed instructions of more experienced guy.

12-2-2025 the first crew that moved me out of the apartment did a wonderful job and nothing was broken.
They moved my items to a terminal / storage area because I was moving out of state in Colorado
My items were moved out from the terminal into a trailer and my items arrived on 12-10-2025 to Texas
When the trailer arrived there was no lock on the lever .
As my items were being unloaded from the hiring helper crew - items were broken , many of my plastic totes were broken, my boxes were ripped ( tape removed )
Many of my furniture was scratched and broken, the king size and twin beds were dirty and wet , my TVs didn’t turn on , and my jacket and purse along with my Sony sound bar were all missing from my inventory. The table was scratched , the red china cabinet broken.
Of course when I mentioned this - hire helper will not assume responsibility for the missing items and had to file a police report and file with my own rental insurance company. So much for paying coverage protection ( paid protection for nothing )
It’s been a very stressful and disappointing experience.

From what you described, the concerns appear to have happened after your items left our crew on 12 2. Our team takes careful handling seriously and always aims for moves to end on a positive note. We also provided Hire A Helper with photos and documentation from our portion of the job for their review.
We know that does not make the situation any less upsetting. We sincerely hope you are getting settled and that things feel easier now in your new home.
