Helpers were right on time. I was dealing with multiple activities when they arrived but no problems. They went right to work unloading the truck then immediately started on the pod when the truck was empty. The guys worked well with each other and were respectful to my requests. Absolutely nothing was damaged or mishandled by the crew.
Truthfully, I was surprised at the professionalism and efficiency of their work.

The four men were terrific! Very hard working, careful with our belongings, wonderful to work with, came prepared, let us know when they would arrive, and were even able to get here a little early. We highly recommend them and would hire them for any future needs!

I was overcharged $200 for additional labor which I didn’t need. The work was completed in two hours, I paid for three hours yet the charge for additional time was added without my approval. I contacted my crew chief who admitted his men said they were through in two hours and it was an easy job. He agreed to authorize a credit for the overcharge but I still don’t see the credit was applied , without my approval.

I hired four workers which could have gotten the truck completed in less than three hours, but they were constantly on their phone, vaping, and sitting around. Two of them showed up in flip flops, which is not the best shoes for unloading a truck. I did more work then three of them. Smart Move was not interested in the situation, they just wanted their money. Their service may be good in other states, but in Jonesborough, TN, I would not recommend them.

The crew arrived on time and immediately got to work moving my boxes and large items onto the truck. They worked really hard and got everything on the truck that I needed. They also took the time to ensure items were properly covered and to efficiently and safely pack in the back of the moving truck. I definitely recommend Smart Move!

We are experienced in and ready to handle local moves, long-distance, residential, commercial, office, military, and jobs requiring 50+ movers. We handle nationally selected VIP moves.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part about being a mover is meeting new people everyday. Some of these relationships have lasted over 15 years!
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our training consists of live experience at our warehouse before going in our customers' homes.
