The movers arrived promptly, however upon arriving told me they would be charging for the use of their materials like plastic wrap and moving blankets with no breakdown of the cost. They also asked me to determine what bridges were available to route into the city from Jersey instead of coming already aware of their intended route to the destination.
While most of the men helping me were polite and professional, the one in charge was quite combative when I pointed out some scratches on my desk that had been picked up on the trip over, blaming it on me and saying they were already there when I knew for a fact they were not as I had loaded the storage unit that we were loading from.
Overall, the job was completed in as timely a fashion as possible, however I would recommend if using their service that customers keep watch through the whole process to ensure safe handling of items. Also, anticipate additional charges being applied and know they’ll ask for toll coverage and some additional payment in cash.
