I booked an appointment for a move with an arrival of 7-8am. Ten minutes to eight on the day of my move and no movers. I began calling both phone numbers given to me and one goes to a full voicemail the other to a voicemail. After repeatedly calling S&L for 20 mins, I finally get somone who answers the phone. I'm told "my guys got off to a late start and are 45 mins away." I was told by Trent that I would receive a discount for the late arrival but alas, I did not. I would not recommend this company especially if you are looking for one that arrives as scheduled and if they can not, will call you and at least let you know.

They were twenty minutes late. They weren't prepared for the job at all and didn't have any equipment necessary to move heavy bulky furniture. They didn't work hard, in fact I didn't realize it was actually possible to move as slowly as they did. Plus they spent more time discussing how to to do things than actually doing it. They turned a 2 hour job into a 3 hour job. They were not respectful of me at all and hounded me to release payment to them before they would leave. We got into a huge altercation about it. It was ridiculous. In all my moves over the years this one was the absolute worst. I would NOT use them again.

Wow! Lenny and Damaris were phenomenal. We could not have packed the 16 foot Pod in 3 1/2 hours with out them. They arrived on time. They worked Hard and steady the whole time. The weather was Hot, Muggy and miserable not a complaint at all. I definitely recommend them and would hire them again. They were polite and courteous. We have a two story house we loaded. 2 fridges, 6 dressers, 2 Queen box springs, Large China cabinet, curio Cab, Large office desk, 3 twin mattresses, and Many large storage tubs as filler and lots of boxes. It was amazing. My husband Son and I also helped. It went smooth and fast. We could have never done this without the helpers. They guided us on how to efficiently pack and fill that Pod right to the Top. We used recommended tie downs and lots of old blankets and towels as filler the Pod is going cross country and we don't want any shifting. I'm sure it will move perfectly. I would like to Thank hire a helper for sending such Great Workers!

S&L was extremely professional and hard working. I hired one person moving labor help. The individual showed up on time, at the beginning of the 1 hour window, and worked extremely hard during the entire move. I was going from storage to truck and then truck to apartment. He offered insightful packing/loading suggestions and handled everything with care. I was actually so impressed that I extended my booking with them. I would highly recommend S&L to anyone needing help with moving.

Extremely professional and respectful. Job took twice as long as scheduled, and the movers left before finishing. I don't think I will hire them again.

The crew that helped me was actually early which was a plus. We were able to get things done in a timely manner. They were very polite and friendly. They did a good job. The only thing I would suggest is having enough supplies, they ran out of shrink wrap and having all the tools you may possibly need. You never know what kind of unique furniture a customer will have. I would use them again.

Amazing company! We hired for the move out on one day and the move in on the next. They packed our truck in like a jigsaw puzzle and unpacked it for us so fast! Would definitely use them again!

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
