The guys did a great job! They were every efficient and had our stuff loaded in no time. Everything made it to our destination (500 miles away!) safely and in perfect condition. I would definitely hire them again!!!

The guys were great, arrived promptly at scheduled time and had everything loaded for me in less time than I had thought. Everything was stacked well and protected with blankets and wrap. Great job!

They were an hour and a half late and didn't let me know. I found out that they were going to be late by calling Hire A Helper! The guys that they sent had a bad attitude, their pants were hanging down around their knees, and they were smoking weed while they were here. We kept smelling it. I confronted them about it and they denied it. They loaded my PODS wrong and didn't finish the job. When I asked them to stay to finish they said that their boss told them that they couldn't because they had to stay on schedule. I told them that they hadn't cared about being on schedule for MY job! They left me in tears because I was going to have to hire someone to finish the job!!! Never again will have anything to do with this company. That's what I get for hiring the cheapest movers I suppose. I'd give them LESS than one star if I could!

It was a very hot day and they had to move from a 3rd level 2 bedroom apartment. The longest part was loading the truck. They were on time even a few minutes earlier than the scheduled time. Thank you for not passing out and getting the job. If its one thing that is not enjoyable is moving and they helped me along the way.

i was moving and taking my dad with me. I had scheduled 5 hrs with 4 crew members, for a load and unload only, and a stop at my dads house to pick up some items, all was understood and agreed. My closing date was changed. I changed the move to 2 crew members and 2 hrs just to load at my dads and unload at storage unit, 3 minutes away. Two hours wasn't enough time, I said I would pay for another an hour, which is in their policy, that they can go over 1 hr but going over 2 hrs wasn't guaranteed. The workers said they couldn't stay an extra hour because they were short handed and had to go. They stayed 5 mins over and left. My husband and 78 yr. old dad finished the job, that took 30 minutes. When my credit card was charged, it was an extra 15 minutes. It took several calls to make it right but hire a helper credited my account. The workers were good and we tipped them but disappointed they couldn't stay another 30 mins when it states in their policy that they can. just be mindful of the time you schedule, if this were my original move of 5 hrs, I'm not sure what we would have done. When it is my turn to move, not sure I would use them again.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The customer should try to have all boxes properly sealed, dresser drawers emptied if possible. have boxes staged in one location, also to have all needed materials such as moving blankets , shrink wrap and tape.
What types of moves have you handled?
My company has handled various residential moves, long distance ,storage units ,ABF trailers, loading and unloading of PODS ,and office relocation.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a mover is helping people eliminate the anxiety that's comes on moving day.

My crew has been trained in proper lifting techniques and well as furniture preparation,packing and customer service. .
