The Movers showed an hour early. They had a dolly with them. They were polite with sarcasm ( trying to be in a playful manner at times) Started off slowly and very unorganized, which lead to going over the hired out time. ( My daughter and I completed the Move ourselves)
One of the guys continued to use cell phone, stopping to scroll and check his bets etc (since he actually shared that he lost the night prior by 1 point).
Air pods in ears and not listening when explaining details of our move and what needed to be loaded into the moving truck. One was very sarcastic and commented on everything I expressed to him as far as which items were to be moved with more care then others relating to the weight and the priceless/sentimental value. Items ended up shattered, irreplaceable and very damaged.

We were a little disappointed when we found out there was only going to be two men moving our possessions rather than three (due to illness). However, the two that came worked hard and were able to finish the job in three hours, which is what we had hoped for with the three men.
Since we did not get the three men that were promised the company honored my request to refund us a portion of what we paid and they did so quickly and without complaint. The company as well as the two men that moved us were professional and careful. I would definitely recommend them.

The only positive thing about this moving company was that we got a call when the movers were on there way after being 3 hours late from the scheduled time.
The movers were grossly under prepared both in attire and physically even though we paid the premium for stairs. They were wearing clothes that continued to fall down below their waist to the point where their underwear was showing while carrying our stuff up the stairs. They left behind empty waterbottles that reeked of alcohol as well of the smell of marijuana through out our home.
They damaged our walls and didnt care about the contents of the boxes even when clearly labeled and told which boxes were fragile.
After we brought all of this information to HireAHelper Management, all offerred was a 5% discount for our troubles.
I'd STRONGLY would NOT recommend this moving company and I will never use them again. Their customer service was awful and they do not have any professionalism or decorum.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The customer should try to have all boxes properly sealed, dresser drawers emptied if possible. have boxes staged in one location, also to have all needed materials such as moving blankets , shrink wrap and tape.
What types of moves have you handled?
My company has handled various residential moves, long distance ,storage units ,ABF trailers, loading and unloading of PODS ,and office relocation.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a mover is helping people eliminate the anxiety that's comes on moving day.
What training do you provide your crew members?
My crew has been trained in proper lifting techniques and well as furniture preparation,packing and customer service. .

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
