I hired 2 movers on 12/19/20 to load my belongings from a 5X10 storage unit onto a 16' moving truck.
I drove 16 hours to from Charlotte, NC to Dallas, TX and discovered that a considerable amount of MY ITEMS WERE MISSING!!!!!
THE MOVERS LEFT SEVERAL OF MY BELONGINGS ON THE ELEVATOR AT THE STORAGE FACILITY!!!
MY ITEMS WERE STOLEN from the storage facility!!!!
The owner of SMF Moving & Staging, took NO RESPONSIBILITY and was extremely belligerent! HE REFUSED TO COMPENSATE ME FOR ANY OF MY LOST BELONGINGS!!

The customer should try to have all boxes properly sealed, dresser drawers emptied if possible. have boxes staged in one location, also to have all needed materials such as moving blankets , shrink wrap and tape.

My company has handled various residential moves, long distance ,storage units ,ABF trailers, loading and unloading of PODS ,and office relocation.

My favorite part of being a mover is helping people eliminate the anxiety that's comes on moving day.
