AJ and his crew were amazing! Very friendly and professional. They worked so hard the whole time, protected our furniture, and packed our POD so efficiently that we were able to fit a lot more of our items in there. 2 hours late, no experience at all to load in, no organize to pack more, keep saying not enough room. Leave early. Will not use them nor helpahire.

We take FULL responsibility for being two hours late. We apologize profusely for that. We couldn't change the fact however that you ordered a 5' by 8' Uhaul trailer for a fully furnished one bedroom apartment. We couldn't magically create the room you needed sir, even though we felt sorry for you. We did leave before 2 hours was complete because once your tiny, inadequate trailer was filled, there was in fact nothing more that we could physically do for you sir. Furthermore, your judgement regarding the moving process is clearly lacking sir, seeing that you have inaccurately labeled us as inexperienced loaders (we have about 20 years of combined experience) but then proceeded to commission this toy dollhouse sized trailer to transport your fully furnished one bedroom apartment...

These guys were GREAT. On time, hard working, careful. They unloaded a pod filled to the gills with heavy furniture and stayed in good spirits the whole time. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

According to HireAHelper here is what people want to know: Were they on time? No, they arrived late. In fact, I don't think if I hadn't called they would have showed at all.
Were they prepared for the job? No. They did not have a furniture dolly or the proper attire needed for moving.
Did they work hard? They got the job done but these are not professional movers - just nice guys. It took longer to unload the truck then it did to wrap, box and pack it.
Were they respectful of your property and goods? Again, nice guys that got the job done but not professional movers.
Would you use them again? Sadly, even for the price, no. Again, these were nice guys but I hired professional movers for a reason.

Mover's response:
Let us respectfully point out that you left out the fact that you had a baby grand piano and a gun safe included in the load that you didn't indicate to Hire a Helper so that you could avoid the $200 extra charge for them. This is why you lamented the fact that we didn't bring a 4 wheel dolly (we are NOT required to do so, we are only required to bring a hand truck and tools), because it would have made it easier for the movers to move your heavy items that you should have paid extra for, in for free... furthermore we were indeed late because you live out in an area where our GPS did not work...your dishonesty during the booking process caused the move to go much longer,since we were not prepared for the Piano and gun safe that you conveniently didn't mention to avoid paying extra money.... Also what constitutes proper moving attire? A suit and a tie perhaps? Our men wear clean clothes without holes in them and shoes with proper grip for safety... Not sure what more you would have liked to see from them. We are very professional and have completed hundreds of Moving jobs successfully to date.

Thanks for the 4 stars! As for being slow, we would rather be careful than fast and clumsy, damaging your stuff... therefore to anyone that sees this, if you would rather hire the 'fast, save you an hour but scratch your walls and floors Movers', then perhaps you should not hire us.
