There are chips. dents, scratches and gouges on almost every piece of furniture. And more than one on some pieces. There is even a large hole on another. we provided furniture covers and apparently they were not used properly. All the damage was done wood on wood.

The movers were a running a little late due to the previous job taking longer than expected. I was scheduled for two movers for two hours. It was a simple job of moving boxes (no furniture) from the truck to my third floor apartment. They were quick and professional. They even added third mover at no extra charge. I would definitely use them again.

Although I had to be out of town for work when move had to be completed, I took a chance that with 2 hired helpers my son would be able to accomplish the move of our home to a temporary storage unit. They arrived on time, were prepared and professional! They worked very hard and I feel blessed to know that when we are ready to move belongings to our new home we know exactly who to call. They have my highest recommendation and gratitude for a job well done!

Let me preface my review with a comment on the 2 boys, and I do mean young boys who showed up for my move. They both were incredibility polite, accommodating, timely, and friendly young lads. I would give them both 5 stars based on effort!!! They unfortunately were just not prepared for the job. One example was they did not have straps to hold a sleeper sofa together, luckily we had some in the truck. They also forgot to bring a dolly to assist them moving large items up the 4 flights of stairs that I described in my application for a quote. I did end up with the corner of a large picture broken and a few scratches on wood pieces. I know they felt bad, and were respectful of my property. I felt the price was higher than most, but I was able to book last minute, so I expected to pay a little more.

It was very easy to use hireahelper.com. We needed to find a mover for same day service. It took literally minutes to find a mover and schedule the move. The movers were prompt and worked incredibly hard the whole move. They were also very gentile with our pieces as they are over 100 years old! I highly recommend Dyson Movers and would not hesitate to use them again.
