I received a call that the movers was going to be 20-30 minutes late. Then I received another call that said there was a family emergency and the movers were 20-40 minutes out. Unfortunately, they did show up an hour and half late. By that point we had already unloaded one truckload and started to fill the truck again. I was glad they were able to help with some of the larger items. I wish both of them had not concentrated so much on organizing the truck, but rather one of them had continued to help bring items down with my family and friends while the other organized. To be clear, this did not happen the entire time, they did help bring items down but my fiance and his friends had to bring down the large desk and the queen mattress. I was also disappointed that when we were ready to go we wasted 15-20 minutes reorganizing the truck since they had packed it to allow more items to fit but then they had to ensure everything did not then fall over. By the time all the reorganization occurred and they arrived at the new location they only had time to unload the truck into the basement and bring up the larger items to our condo upstairs. I do not feel like I would use this service again just because of how late they showed up and not utilizing the time. Armani and Tom were very respectful and treated our property well. However, I just felt there were too many issues with this move to use this service in the future.

The Pros:
-They showed up 20 minutes early. No one was home at the time and they kindly waited 15 minutes for one of us to get home.
-They had a large enough crew and were very polite/kind
-They treated all items well, no damage
The Cons:
-They took at least twice as long as other moving companies have taken in the past for similar tasks. We had a VERY simple move - boxes of furniture + 1 sectional couch had been delivered to our garage off the back yard, and we needed them moved 1 flight upstairs, and one large piece of furniture (a bed frame) assembled. The boxes were ready to go, already closed/wrapped/protected (sectional was still wrapped and protected from the truck), literally just needed to be carried. There were roughly 15 boxes weighing 80-200 lbs each.
They took over four hours to move 15 boxes and assemble one bed frame. They brought no straps or equipment to help them move. They even tried to tell me that they couldn't carry up the heaviest box (200 lbs) - even though their service only lists a specialty/heavy item as one over 400 lbs. We basically told them that carrying the box was the only reason they were hired, as we literally could not do it ourselves. Begrudgingly, they moved that box last.
They completed the task requested but left a bad taste in my mouth. Can't help but feel we paid 2x what we got.

We had two helpers for a move from a house in Evanston to a high-rise apartment in the city and they were fantastic. On time, prepared, worked hard, took great care of our stuff--all of that. U-Haul messed up our reservation so the guys had to wait for a bit before they could get started but they made up for our lost time quickly. Everything was wrapped up carefully and packed neatly in the truck--Daniel even made a point of showing me, saying he takes pride in the work, which was clear from the results. It turned out that the hallway in our new building was too small for our couch to be rotated through the front door but they took it right back down to the truck for us with no complaints. I highly recommend Mobile Services and would absolutely hire them again.

These guys were great! Friendly and knew what they were doing. This was a difficult move trying to get stuff like an 8 foot recliner couch up to second floor in a small elevator and they did it. Also some difficult turns that they navigated beautifully. Very respectful of the items they were moving and of us. They worked hard and I would diffidently use them again and recommend them to my mother if she were still alive.
