We hired the two guys from Mooney's to pack about 100 boxes of books at a residence in Highland Park, IL. As I'd requested, they stopped on the way to pick up boxes & tape which I'd pre-ordered and were waiting for them. They then drove to the house for the packing. They were about 15-20 minutes later than we expected, but I guess one never knows about traffic, right?!
They got the boxes packed and loaded into the POD, but we felt that they moved much slower than we would have expected. We had previous experience with other packers who did a similar job who got much more done in a shorter time, so we were disappointed.
If I were hiring someone for a similar job, I'd look for another company.
They packed 150 boxes not 100 boxes and then had to load all the boxes on to a pod. You hired 2 movers for 4 hrs and they did 5 hours and that included them driving and stopping to pick up the boxes and tape . We are sorry that you feel that they were not moving fast enough for your satisfaction. My question is why you did not hire the company that did it in 4 hrs?

The 2 guys first were good and worked very hard, had car trouble so we’re late. Things I didn’t like was the folded the mattress’s in half now we have to get new ones and then they dropped my tv!
